rate the endgame from 1 to 10

The game should be playable as a single player game, but the RNG-crafting and drops are sooooo bad that it is impossible to build a good character without trading. It makes the whole experience disappointing and frustrating. A game designed that way cannot get more than a 1 out of 10. Yes, it is early acces, but the flaws are structural to the design and I do not see them solve it. |

There are good things about it but they DROWN under all the stupidest things there is. Funniest thing - there are people here who will seriously defend all the issues. Seriously, you need to go to therapy if you defend XP loss, 1 life per map etc. |

Okay, lets start from 10/10. Below points are about ENDGAME, not acts.
- wild damage scaling from poe1 still present, players EHP remain small compared to incoming burst dps, monsters can roll crits: -1 - waystone RNG + mob RNG is now mandatory, cannot skip AN rares even if it perfectly counters your build, and cannot sustain maps without regal/vaal: -1 - exp penalty, no coop revive, no second try: -1 - extremely long grind loops for aspirational content. With our stellar design philosophy, first meeting with new boss is guaranteed fail, need to learn mechanics first: -1 - Not even attempted to invent new mechanics, ported a few old mechanics. One of poe1 selling points was having content for all tastes. Blight and heist not in game: -1 - Visual clarity is still a mess, and still tanks performance heavily, to the point of stalling weaker cpu with poor cooling during burst heat moments from ultimate lazy loading: -1 - Level design is pretty but uncomfortable to navigate. Maps should have checkpoints like act areas, to reduce backtracking for remaining AN mobs: -1 - Build variety remains a fake like in poe1, a number of skills are not viable to build around. First few hotfixes show same approach to arbitrary nerfing with collateral damage: -1 - Last bits of deterministic crafting are gone, no workbench. Removing alts adds extra tedium in collecting white items to slam and throw them away: -1 - Inventory management remains archaic, small cellgrid bags instead of simple list, no aoe pickup hotkey, extra tedium with identifying items: -1 ...so, sums up to a total of 0/10:) |

After a great deal of hours in the endgame with three different characters, I've yet to find a single citadel, let alone three unique ones, I have nowhere near 300 breach splinters, Simulacrum splinters don't exist, never seen the logbook boss and why is Ritual in the game? The grind to get even one try against the pinnacle bosses is so over-tuned that they might as well not exist, and there is nothing else to work towards.
Not a big fan of the "only one try against a boss who can one-shot you" design either. If you don't know how to avoid the move, you can't learn it either, since you won't be seeing that boss until a long time later. Instead of rating the endgame I'll say it is too early in development to be considered a released product to be rated. I guess that's what you sign up for when you play a game in Early Access, we are play testing it so it will eventually be good. |

i gave it a 7-7,5. I Iike the game and the campaign new cIass is cooI, but in my opinion, it's just poe 1.5 for the moment. i feeI Iike i pIay a v.2 version. i know it is a earIy access but it's the biggest probIem in my opinion. i don't reaIIy know how to think about it.
for me, the atIas, map thing need a rework, i don't know what you can do but it's too simiIar to poe 1. the campaign is the strongest point here. as mandatory things to change for me is: . the sIow when using a skiII or buff movement speed or aIIow us to do it significantIy (tree, gear, gems) . reduce a bit the size of the map, mostIy in endgame (not necessary if you buff speed or if there is mount in the futur) . the finisher on rare needs to be remove in my opinion, or aIIow us to deactivate it. . add something to aIIow us to mitigate the damage of area damage/speIIs. (modifier on stuff or tree or unique idk) . for maps, if you decide to keep the actuaI system, i know i said poe 2 Iooks too much to poe1 but maybe think about an another way to portaI. Iet us choose the map to run or make it correspond to the biome where maps are. ( not a toxic or savannah in a coId biome). . Iet us more chance on pinnacIe boss (3 try at Ieast since it's rare and Iong to find or have the item to the give access to) . reaIIy important : optimise the game as much as you can, it must be a priority, thank you. what i wouId Ike to see in the futur and other things : . for ascendancy, i don't know how to think about it, it was hard and painfuII but not impossibIe (i mostIy did sekhema in meIee before buff with many, MANY runs and overIvI it). maybe add another triaI made speciaIIy for it, not a Iabyrinth pIease, something new. i don't know for utItimatum, i didn't touch it ( aIIow us to traveI to barya into hideout directIy pIease) . burning/chiIIing/eIectrify ground : mmmh either make them tinyer either Iower the number of it, i think. . nothing to teII about crafting, i assume it wiII come in future Ieague, unIess you are Iucky or doing rituaI, it's hard to have a good crafted things. maybe add something to earIy craft i don't know, didn't think much about it, i was just gambIing. . trading onIine, stiII great but if i speak about it, i'm in danger. i made some mistake too during the first 3 weeks, sorry. (Iog in probIem, i need to reconnect every time, it's a détaiI but stiII annoying) . do something for bot,i don't know how it works and how you can definitivIy erase it, but if you can, do it pIease. i have no more idea in mind right now. thanks for the game. I miss the chilled clears mixed with hard bosses. I miss the rewards. Its a 2/10 and not close.
