Auction House Poll

I assume the majority of players in 2024 want an Auction House.
GGG doesn't want an AH for 12 years. Could GGG have the balls to make a poll on twitter/X and ask the players this simple Question: Do you want an ingame Auction House? Elon Musk is also playing PoE 2 and maybe he will make a poll on day, would be great to see what the majority of players want. Last bumped on Jan 13, 2025, 6:03:59 PM

Why would they make a poll if their vision is to unequivocally keep the current system?
Why don't you make a poll? But then again, why would GGG care for the results of a poll, made by Musk, you or anyone else? In fact, I'm sure such polls were made in the past. Precious few companies stick to their guns like GGG, and this seems to be a fundamental choice for them. |

AH is needed if players don't want trading to be absolute garbo on actual first league launch. Because expect even bigger inflation than what has happened already, expect scammers, expect pricefixers. And ofc the people that re-list an item after getting a whisper cus "it could be worth more".
+1 And in an interview the lead dev said they want to add instant buyout on trading anyways, so we just have to wait until after christmas and new years for more news on that. |

GGG just has the balls to tell you NO instead.
They don't want it, they've given their reasoning multiple times, and whether you like it or not doesn't really matter. It's their game, their vision, and an AH isn't part of that. I'd actually prefer them to go the other way, disable anybody being able to scan stash tabs and make people work a lot harder to trade items. |

My first experiences with trading were whispering like 10 different people for different items and not getting any response at all. Some of the auto whispers were russian even from my side? Im new to poe community and I dont like this system at all. Hopefully they add some sort of shop in game soon. This sort of ingame trading is beyond outdated.
