Too bad they literally said in an interview they plan on fixing the problem of trading and adding in instant-buyout. Auction House-like system is inevitable, can't wait for it to be implemented in the game.

Weird never heard them say that in any interview yet

Which one was this ?

An interview ziz did. Can't find it on youtube but here's a twitch clip of the question:

That doesn’t mean they are going to make an AH

I also remember this interview and this was when they were talking about their change in direction with the currency exchange they did with Faustus in settlers

Please torf …. Troll better next time

I assume the majority of players in 2024 want an Auction House.

GGG doesn't want an AH for 12 years.

Could GGG have the balls to make a poll on twitter/X

and ask the players this simple Question:

Do you want an ingame Auction House?

Elon Musk is also playing PoE 2 and maybe he will make a poll on day, would be great to see what the majority of players want.

In this case it's not about what the majority want, it's about what the devs want.

Yes but they did state that if people were upset with something they'd seriously consider changing it. They didn't want it like PoE1 where ideas were locked in and unchangeable even if the community hated them.
Thats only if the community actually hates them - vocal minority is on the forums, trade working well for me - its the best auction house I have experienced in any game

If a company wants to remain successful, it should focus on the wishes and concerns of its customers and not believe that it knows everything better.
A game is a service and not an ego project.

If game companies think they can ignore the wishes of the customers, then the result is something like UBI Soft.

All i want are data, from a poll, made by GGG.

And with those numbers we could debate again.

You want your opinion to be validated, and if (likely when) it's not, you'd blame GGG for not doing it right, falsifying the results, blah blah "the vision" and then you'd be right back to blaming someone else instead of realizing maybe you DON'T know better than the decade+ long veterans who MADE THE GAME SERIES.
Our trade system is old and annoying!
I play on console so I am used to the Console trade market which comes with its own share of problems but at least IT IS INGAME and does not have the annoying join party, meet up in person trading process.

GGG should at least use this on PC for maps, unique gear and stuff.

But it directly countered what you stated. "In this case it's not about what the majority want, it's about what the devs want.". Jonathan has said in multiple interviews that if players complain enough about something they will try and fix it even if they don't want to change it.

So if the majority want it to change, Jonathan has said they will change it.

Of course they have their own stats they collect and can combine with the so called "vocal minority" to see if it warrants change. They have my stats, I used the currency exchange over my EA play time, but as soon as I used their trade system for gear, spent 2+ hours whispering people for 3 items, and I quit 1 hour later and didn't log back in.
I am not against an auction house, but it has to be a pure auction house without reserve prices with at least 24 hour bidding times with 5 minute snipes and no instant buyout.
