Auction House Poll
"We don't talk about ebay. In World of Warcraft there was an Auction House since 2006. Especially for Ore, Leather, and other Crafting material. You make a farm run and then put your stuff in the AH and get your Gold. I play PoE for 12 years now and the AH debate ist also like 10 years ongoing. But we have PoE 2 now and a lot of new players and content creators who doesn't understand why GGG would still hold on this annoying system of personal trades, which is just a time lost for everyone. GGG thinks that if you spend way more time in trading it would be good for the game but it kills the fun and the will to play on. |

I don't think we need an AH, we have the trade website and it does pretty much everything we need. Combined with the currency market we're good.

"The Trade website is good, if you would able to buy intant those items listed there, but you can't. Even if the guy is online it is not guaranteed that he will respond or in a worst case he just increase the price of the item and I don't talk about that someone misspriced, I talk about Greed. I'd give anything for an AH. Spend way too many hours trying to get a response from sellers on trade site.

100% against ingame AH for items. The currency one is already stretching it a bit far (needs to have a quantity limit per day to avoid flippers)

Mate, AH does not suit a game that is old school style like PoE 1 and 2.
AH suits MMORPGs, not ARPG. |
