Please do something about boots...

I think that boots without movement speed should have 50% increased stats, like I don't know, maybe 50-60 res, 300 life, 300 mana, cannot be frozen, something like that, otherwise GGG makes every single boots without movement speed useless, I don't think it's good design to put so many garbage loot into the game. There are too many relicts from D2, like light radius. If there was a skill scaled on this stat, then sure, maybe some crazy -light radius blind man who owns entire map, but can see in 1m radius only, no minimap, or something crazy, high risk high reward, whatever.

Implicit by base: from +4 on starting levels, up to +12-15 during endgame, it's not much, but it's something. Maps are too huge, while characters are too slow without silver flask or vaal haste. Does GGG really want us to chase rare mobs from one corner of the map to another? Is this really necessary? If yes, then at least give me better boots :P

Move speed charm would be neat. "X% move speed granted", triggered by "hit", similar duration. The idea would be to help get you out of harms way, and the charges/duration would keep the balance without breaking the game.
The problems with movement on boots are:
1) It gets too high at 35%
2) Other sources (skill tree) are low at 2-4%
3) Not many other interesting options (ex. gloves have damage)

Movement speed isn't just offense and zooming through maps. It's also defense since you can avoid damage. Just like how they removed all %life nodes and now whatever %life you can get can make a difference, if movement is almost entirely on boots, you will need it on boots.

Fix:
1) Inherent movement on boot items (15-20)
2) Reduce rolls (35 max -> 15, so rolls of 10,12,15)
3) Remove armor movement penalty. This is a PoE remnant that doesn't make sense

The end result is only slightly higher movement, but way less reliance on a good boot item roll. Some people would still go for the 15% roll.

Weapons have guaranteed mods, there is literally a bow with extra arrow and a crossbow with extra grenade, body armours have chad implicits too its hardly unusual to ask for some MS on boots to be hardlined because its mandatory anyway.

If that was their response it was a bad one.

Agree. Lots of other gear items have implicits that are somewhat related to their function. But boots have nothing: they're just... boots. It seems very un-inspired.

Same with gloves and helmets btw, those don't seem to have any implicits.
