Dissapointed with GGG today.
" Each new League has more players and PoE 2 EA had the best player numbers ever. So statistically you're just plain wrong. People prefer playing actual games instead of glorified DVD menu screens walking simulators. If a dungeon adventure dungeon is too easy, its no longer an adventure. You should be disappointed that there were several systems that they didn't know how they worked, like bleed.

" And I love how some people act like the game is perfect. Or I love how some people think that only 10 people have some problems. |

" This door swings in both ways. There are also player, who like it, when it is hard. And they would leave, when PoE comes to another Eaay way game without any challanges. The only question remains, who is it, they would support more? The old players, who like the hard game and supported the game for years? Or the new players, who want a easy hello kitty like game, that just came to this game for PoE2? I like the exp loss. I like that fact, that there is a hard level for a character. If you die too often, and cannot beat some content, than you either stay at the level and farm lower stuff, or you adjust your gear/skills to overcome the problem of dying. |

I'm disappointed for the reasons the OP stated as well, but I'm REALLY disappointed that Jonathan doesn't understand the economy at all. The fact that he assumed divines aren't worth anything was laughable. Thier value is directly tied to their rarity. How can he not see that? Also, the part where they didn't seem to understand how rarity translates to quantity (of rarer drops). Do they play their own game?

One of them clearly understands all the issue and the other guy has "a vision". I respect his vision, and i see where he is coming from but i do not agree with it. Death brings too much negatives, some things need to go.

With it being admittedly pretty early: it seems like they are just kind of embracing meta-play at it's fullest. Several characters over 90 now and the difference between playing meta vs off meta makes it a whole different game. One-portal is really nbd for 2 of the builds I have and not even worth sweating through for a different one, which makes meta that much more appealing, not losing drops to dying with the new system. Personally, I don't care, I always went straight to build guides for POE1 anyway and only used POB to import builds, but I think they are significantly narrowing the scope of the game with the new approach.

They are literally making lower tier maps easier, making visual clarity on ground effects more clear and nerfing overall mob damage. If you continue to die to explosions that are very clearly on you then its deserved you lose the map

" I love how people think they deserve there issue fixed first when the game is in early access. I also love how people think that others presumably think that there is only 10 players who are affected by bugs. Tbh I don't think anyone has thought that in the history of POE2. 10 players is crazy and shows you exaggerate way to much to be taken seriously. People are so privileged to not understand that there needs to be work that needs to be done before they can simply fix something. Yes of course there will be bugs its a complex game. They announced the time frames of when bug fixes will be out new things will be added etc. So just wait.. Last edited by TheBladezPurge#7645 on Jan 13, 2025, 8:48:48 AM

" Yes. That's correct. Nobody ever beat Mario by being bad at it. You had to continually improve until you could beat the game. Getting to 100 in a Path of Exile game, whether POE1 or POE2, means: - Constantly improving your gameplay - Continued investing in your gear until it gets super powerful - Continued investing in your gems to get the max power out of them - Figuring out skill and passive tree combinations to maximize damage output and defenses such that you clear maps without worry of death - Figuring out boss mechanics such that you kill them before they kill you The game is working as intended. I for one am glad Jonathan & Mark confirmed that vision. |
