Dissapointed with GGG today.
Not sure why they want to die on this hill. It's literally the one thing making me not want to engage with endgame at all. And with poe1 seemingly abandoned it just is really disappointing

" And suggestions of those same clueless people would make the game only worse, not better. Anyone asking to skip a game so they can see the big Congratulations screen immediatly does not know what they actually want. Otherwise they would be playing Diablo 4 Spiritborn right now and enjoying their time pressing a button and winning instantly. |

" Wrong. You just avoid hard content to grind your level 100 in a safe easy environment where nothing kills you or buy a carry. |

" Exactly, people are frankly insane to think otherwise. One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.

Stop it. Get Some Help.

Skill, Item, & Balance patches should always be rolled out immediately. It was disappointing to hear GGG not sharing this sentiment. Waiting until a new realm gets created to begin testing is lazy design.

" That's not the message I heard, https://youtu.be/WjxzTAcJqAM?t=5350 I heard they discuss this a lot, that they don't want to go back to six portals if possible, as feel there should be some real possibility of failure for it to be a game, and that six portals never offered that. So they're trying to add six attempts to pinnacle bosses instead, given the economic value of each attempt at these bosses. But also that they recognised that death right now has too many combined penalty axes, across map progression loss and experience loss. That random monster combinations are making early maps too hard and there's little to be learned as a player from the death other than playing more carefully. That they suspect they need to lower difficulty and ease players into maps more, and will do so based on further thought and large volumes of feedback received. That they would also like to reduce the penalties for map failure (loss of a juiced map) if they could find a way of doing so without introducing exploits. (Personally I far prefer six portals when mapping, as I don't think it's likely that sufficient balance can be consistently achieved by GGG across enough builds and given future releases, to make single shot mapping feel good. A la the history of PoE 1 Archnemesis problems, still raising their heads in PoE 2. I think they need six portals as an insurance policy given the way this typically goes. So for me this is the wrong call, but I can appreciate they want to try.) |

" So the company does not need a wider audience...it needs a few die hards, right? See what is happening with Lost Ark. What I hear here again is someone who is just a pathetic. A number of my friends stopped playing when I told them that the end game is as follows: map, map, map, die, map, die, map, map, die, map...and no progress the deaths take progress away from you. After that explanation, They finished the campaign Act 1 to 3 left...this game needs to respect your time better or it will fail. After listening into the stream, they have realised this and that their end-game loop is shit. If it was great from the start, they would not be making all the changes. So get a life. |

I agree that its too brutal with the amount of stuff you lose with it.

" Think both of you forget about the omen. Losing 2.5÷ on 99 is like 3 juiced maps. Getting 100 in PoE1 is really not that hard if it is worth a few divines for you. I did it playing corrupted guardian maps only last season and I am far off being good at this game compared to others. Slowly ramping to 95 in EA but I think with the visibility changes and a few adjustments I would have been there long ago. |
