If Blatant Display of Boosting/RMT Doesn't Get Punished Im Never Taking the Game Seriously Again
I wish at least the obvious botting and RMT occurring on the trade site was cleaned up to start with. Accounts repeatedly spam whispering all day and night for countless hours should be easy to detect. Also, looking right now there's one individual that almost never logs off with over 10,000 divines worth of quarterstaffs and dualstring bows alone. I find it hard to believe that was done legitimately in just one month of early access. That's one person essentially having a monopoly over weapons that 2 out of 6 classes in the game aka a solid 20+% of the player-base is being negatively impacted and actively manipulated. I'm all for the trading aspect of the game, but when someone is holding 50-60% of the top-end market for an item that should be an obvious enough sign that some form of cheating, exploiting, botting, or RMT is taking place.

" I mean, it's not just "one support pack purchase". It's a blatant and tacit approval of RMT and boosting that completely removes any form of plausible deniability they had. The OP is far from alone in wanting nothing to do with a game that blatantly allows RMT. Exposure to "millions of potential players" is a joke; the majority of people who are potential players are already playing. |

" who are you even on about? I have never used TFT once in my life and have been playing SSF since its implementation but for the most part i did still care about the leaderboards a lot First you are downplaying the gravity of the situation, the player base has already doubled (not thanks to any billionaires) with many more to come, if all these new people take him to heart any level of RMT and boosting you ever saw its gonna look like a joke compared with wat it will be also who the heck was ever defending TFT on the forums other than the small two digit circle profiting from it all? if you didn't see more outrage from things that were more problematic than this in your eyes is because most people were UNAWARE of such problems, the issue here is that there are people shouting this to millions, that's why the vast amount of the player base are aware of this situation and you see more complains. Put it like this, have you ever seen anyone else openly admitting to such clear bannable offences and not being dealt with? this is opening the gates to damage you have never seen. " This right here. Am I as a player to understand that boosting my character, account sharing and rmt are on the table now? If I’m seriously considering competing for the leaderboard come full launch should I just hire a team of players to pilot my account 24/7 and just claim credit for owning the account? |

" If you can afford it then suit yourself I think. |
|
" If that’s the case then a) why don’t we hear it from GGG directly and b) the title of the post is warranted. |
|
" GGG has to balance the game around a certain power level. obv not mirror tier, but where do you draw the line? when is a build (and all builds include mostly gear) too much, or the game is trivial and no one stays. if you have RMT purchases muddying the waters, you're probably not going to like the decisions they make. they already balance things to require quickly spamming hundreds of maps to gear up. |

It seems GGG is just waiting for the outrage to quietly die out, honestly im quite sad, i just hope he gets bored and stop streaming the game while self reporting how boosted of a player he is, i wonder how much more openly he has to make a joke out of the ladders for GGG to do anything about it.
