Player power needs to be nuked down a lot. This is just disgusting.

ya, after learning one button kill everything is the true and only meta, I moved on. Its part of their culture. You can be like 6 different class but at the end of the day, you will be a one button win anything wizard, no matter what you picked at the start.

Some people love this stuff, not asking to taking it away from them. Was hoping for a real D2 like experience. This is diffidently not it, borderline false advertising. but it is what it is.

Since you brought up D2, how are some of these builds any different than, let's just say a javazon?
Imagine playing a map "slow and methodical" that it takes 20 mins, and then the boss fight where you spend another 10 minutes dodging oneshots and doing 10 damage in a 10 million hp pool.

Then scroll up the atlas and add 30 minutes minimum for each node you see there.

This is what these people want.

LMFAO the game will die in 1 week.

Please uninstall and leave us be with these mickey mouse nerf requests.

I think the game would be better if gear was fixed, we lose access to any and all damage modifiers and remove most of the talents. Remove building and make classes fixed design wise so there can be focus on gameplay. Only small amount like braindead hold rmb to nuke screen gameplay, unless GGG wants the same 20k player audience once the hype dies down and the real live service games release next month.
Monk and Chronomancer are 100% going to get nerfed in next class balance patch. Question is will the general player power get nerfed to the level of Infernalist Witch or cookie cutter Warrior Build?

monk only feels good when he is OP tho lol. it might end up worst than warrior because he is squishy

Yes, it is EA and OP builds will emerge.. however there are that many with such power that it pretty much loses any sense to do anything else than mash 1 button. The game completely lost it's uniqueness.

Bosses which were supposed to be kind of a staple of PoE 2 are dead before their first move.
Slow and methodical gameplay which was promised multiple time is gone and it is back old overstimulating zoom-zoom PoE1 crap.

We don't need to wait 3 months for new economy reset. Its EA, nuke this OP shit to the ground now, that's what EA is for, to have drastic changes.

Just so you know what I'm talking about in case you haven't noticed:

Killing monsters pretty much offscreen and zooming like Formula 1

Shitting every spell on entire screen at once

Simulacrum completed AFK
https://youtu.be/mcx_VyY_tRI?t=69

Endgame bosses deleted within seconds

Some specific skills and builds need like 80% power and speed nerf, maybe even more.

If you play trade league and buy OP stuff from trade to be OP, that's a selfmade issue.
This is not an issue in SSF, and it's specifically why I play HCSSF.
Also, if you invest 500 div, you *should* feel powerful, and it's specifically why many people play trade league.

This thread is just ridiculous.

Funny you mention that, back in Exilecon Kripp played Javazon in Act 2 against Hyena boss and Traitors Passage back when it still had the ceiling-destroying Golem boss. The moment he found a rare javelin he was throwing lightning bolts and destroying screens instantly.

i just realized that trade league might be for devs to balance the game across all possible of combinations of items/skills, where ssf is the actual game XD

Honestly that sounds plausible.
Having played both, SSF definitely feels like what the game is balanced around and the "intended" power progression.

anyone notice that in poe2 there are no reflect mods?

the only reason why it doesnt exist is because GGG doesnt want players to have too much power and wants to keep the damage in check.

if ggg determines players have too much power reflect will be introduced to keep that power in check.

reflect is a shitty mod that devs use as a band aid to curb player power.

games that use reflect as a crutch simply is a game with bad balancing.

you might hate to hear this but poe1 is kinda badly balanced.

but in any case, i m waiting to see how ggg balances the game in the next patch.

whatever they decide to do or NOT do. the community will be divided.
