Player power needs to be nuked down a lot. This is just disgusting.

Some specific skills and builds need like 80% power and speed nerf, maybe even more.

These should be nerfed to the ground.

Hand of Wisdom and Action
Chaos Inoculation
Mind Over Matter
Eldritch Battery
Energy Shield
Temporalis
Atziri's Disdain
Comet
Frost Wall
Elemental Invocation

You must be trolling
The passive skills in your list are core skills that existed in this game for years. Chase unique items are also the build enabling god-tier items that are HARD to obtain, even harder with best stats/corruptions. I guess you came from D4 here..
If anything, I hope they introduce more crazy items into the game. I hope to see Mageblood in some form.. maybe perma-enabling the charm effects? and 3-charm slot mageblood will be like 1 mirror+ in price :)

I will never understand why some people demand for nerfs to ruin the fun for other players (who invested all their time and effort in those "OP" builds) in what essentially is a single player game for 90% of the people playing it. They just jelly?

Because dev currently balance the whole game around the combination of those OP skill/passive/unique gear, making lots of skill and passive straight useless due to slightly longer TTK -> enemy were given huge damage bonus per level instead of health, especially at level 70++ -> easier for you to die even with hardcap resistance and lots of hp

make sense right

You do realize most of these 1 shot builds outside of bug abuse require hundreds of hours of play time and investment to make happen right? why would anyone play a game that your slow killing everything with no progression in power after that kind of time sink? Examples: WOW, Runescape, Elden Ring ect... Your saying its not fair because you watch a streamer who can put 10-15 hours a day into it run circles around you. Your gapped by skill, time investment, and game knowledge and you cry because you cant keep up and that its not fair. Childish
To the guys trying to defend broken imbalanced things, please stop. It's pathetic.

This is the only community I know of where there are people that don't want to have good combat or balance in their game. Absolutely insane.

You shouldn't be able to 1 shot pinnacle bosses. That is simply too much damage.
Are you implying that you dont want any player to be able to minmax and succeed?
All your references are showcases of extremely high budget and time investment to make work. 95% of people are still struggling through content.
It's kind of a staple of ARPGs that you can eventually scale into god mode. Would you prefer if that was more difficult to do? or are you just unhappy that others have already gotten there while youre still struggling like the majority of people?

I'm not defending broken or imbalanced interactions, but you really have to consider the gear investment needed to get to that point. You throw HoWa And PoCG on a monk or gemling without other expensive items and theyre not going to delete ubers. It will look like anyone else trying to dodge and find damage windows.

You cant judge the overall balance based on people doing showcases of impressive builds on youtube. If it wasnt impressive it wouldnt have been worth uploading a showcase. people talk about the vocal minority on forums, but what gets posted on youtube is even smaller of a minority experience.
This post is the epitome of "you get what you deserve"

Situation: there are builds that can get extremely strong and broken given enough time and investment.

Optimal solution: balance the game around build parity. All builds should become broken given enough time and investment. Raise the bar of all skills up instead of lowering the bar of strong skills down. If needed, raise the difficulty of high-end content to keep up.

Some people's desire: invert the logic, balance by lowering the bar

What GGG does: inverts the logic, nerfs anything strong to be way weaker.

People's reaction: "wehhhh, no skillz diversity, all skillz suk, only 5 vible skills for my buget, weeehhhh".

Only casual newbies crying here bcs someone playing better build then they play..

Every rpg games are about time spending into it and when u r casual with one hour daily, dont cry when u see some strong build on youtube.. someone playing more then like 8 hours daily and no, I won't be in every map twenty minutes, bcs some casual noobs crying here..
I strongly agree. I don't think skills should be brought up to this level. I think player power should nerfed so hard and early in EA so players will have more time to adjust to new expectations.

What's the point of all this development going towards monsters and bosses with hand crafted animations and moves when they just explode the second players look at them? I'm not interested in stack checking entire screens at once.
I want my huge investment in my character to pay off, and I explicitly want it to pay off by feeling powerful and explosion enemies without thinking about it. That's the entire power progression fantasy in games. I struggled through the campaign and worked my way up, why should I still be struggling after hundreds of hours?

Maybe I shouldn't literally one shot ubers, fair. But I also don't honestly want those being 3+ minute fights either.
