people seem to think the game is fully released, it's an early access, essentially a beta.
The game at 1.0 is not going to be anything like 0.2 or even 0.1. it's going to get iterated on over the upcoming year+ and change every patch. Metas will shift and get re-defined. Good items will become bad, then tweaked back up over time. Bad items will also get tweaked up or down as needed.
if you can't get over that, maybe you shouldnt play early access/betas.
You do understand tho, that 1.0 will only be good if we whine about all the stuff that is bad, right? In order for GGG to change and improve systems they need people whining about those systems that are not working. If the forum was silent and everyone would be "I won't post my frustrations couse it's EA" then 1.0 would look like 0.1.
I mean sure, feedback is needed but "Do THIS OR ELSE I WILL PLAY LE" is not really useful feedback. Neither is "0.2.0 is worse in every way than 0.1.0" , which is the worst kind of feedback you could give. 0.1.0 was definitely worse in one aspect and it is the one portal limitation and seriously, if you don't tone down your emotions when posting feedback you will only mislead and confuse the devs into making more mistakes or learning to ignore your views.
Players leaving isn't a punishment for the dev it's just the reality. If I don't feel like I'm getting what I want out of the game I can go play other games. The feedback that is the most abundant from the community is what needs changed for me to be interested in investing more time and money into this game. Sorry if that's bad feedback, but they didn't take the other feedback given into account when making the changes.

You know, related to "Last Epoch", the interest in this game went up by a lot.
Not because of the new content reveal, not because content creators covered it, these dates show only small spikes. What really sent the rocket to the moon was something that was released on the 4th April and got its first assessments on the 5th.
And yes. Exactly where it goes BOOM is what happened, what you think of.
So yes, it's kinda useful feedback. Not in terms of "What do you have to change exactly", but in terms of "I'd rather play something else".

i dont think the devs owe the player anything. if the game sucks the players will go elsewhere - that is the transaction in a nutshell, and obviously that specific result is the one they will try to avoid at all costs. they know how many people are logged in and what the common sentiments about their product are right now. threatening to play LE or not doesn't make one bit of difference
OP didn't threats to play LE or something, are you trying to spin?

jakk are you spamming us with player numbers this week? Is this to provoke? I dont see any reason for this to 24/7 being posted. Jesus, GGG released so many good and useful patches recently and all you can do is talk stuff down?

They are no different then every other game released in the past 10 years... They release "early access" and make you pay for a "free" game just like every other game... After a year a majority of games if not a few months after release are free to play with PSN or Xbox live. So that excuse of early access doesn't mean shit. They are running micro transactions and the game like a fully released game that they just updated ever so often.
