diablo is roguelike (literally blizz tried to make their own clone of "Rogue", yet they made diablo1 realtime i.e. "action rpg" lol)

How can someone say this unironically considering the "crafting" situation and how much progress depends on gambling for gear and slamming - I don't know.

Glaring issues with gems that weren't fixed by the introduction of new gems. Can it be worked with, yes, but it's not fun at all. Locked into a small number of choices through a slow slog of leveling with what feels like piss poor progression.

This studio has always had enormous hubris in not improving mechanics it's married to and now that the leads are wealthy that just supports their feeling of knowing what's best for the player.

As long as there are meta builds to play that blow out the content, there will be 1000's of players happy to do it and buy MTX and packs. Some things will never change here.

Btw. crafting is absolutely phenomenal right now in PoE2, much more fun than any crafting currently in PoE1. The state of crafting is almost reminiscent of the original PoE1 Harvest League right now.

I'm sorry you can't enjoy yourself, that's a pity. But it shows that you didn't even give the game a try, you went in in bad faith to than come to the discussion board in equally bad faith because you dislike that others have fun.

[Removed by Support] i know it was good but it was shallow, it was one thing mercs and while fun they didnt take a shitload of work. The atlas changes and memory stuff was also changed for standard and not part of the league you realize that right ? So next league when we dont get an atlas change ( they come about once a year maybe) if we get a similar amount of league work we will be getting almost nothing.

Im sure you felt it was a very clever answer but i dont think you really made a very compelling argument if you actually think 2-4 steps out from just it was good.
