I'd just like to lol at the last 3 pages of conversation.....it's every single thread, every single conversation, the same "logic" playing out in a horribly flawed way.

PoE 2 is almost EXACTLY the same game as early PoE 1. Shinier paint and much more smooth, but eerily similar in terms of actual gameplay and progression. The problem is gamers without any sense of history or those who have ONLY played PoE post-7+ years of development time and constant updated content...........seem to have absolutely no ability or willingness to think and/or actually PLAY a game. When you actually have to...pay attention and plan and move....the entire game becomes fodder for constant and ridiculous complaints. People don't even make any sort of attempt at changing their playstyle to suit the actual game they are playing, and instead demand the GAME to adapt to their playstyle. What the actual hell is that logic? The entitlement? That has NEVER been the point of any game in existence. YOU the player are responsible for playing the game, not the other way around. And if its not to your liking, quit.

There is very little inherently "wrong" with PoE 2 (early game), but it ISN'T modern PoE 1. It never tried to be, nor did it ever have any intention of being modern PoE 1. Is this such a hard concept for folks to grasp?

I personally DO NOT LIKE PoE 2. I'm not currently playing it. I went in knowing that I might not like it because it was a wildly different experience from PoE 1. But I wanted to try it because maybe I would fall in love with it. I still might. But it was never a SECRET that this was a different game, slower, methodical, demanding more of the player. And you know what? The "me" that was over a decade younger probably preferred that style of game more. Now? It might be a bit overwhelming for me. But that is MY personal taste. It's a DIFFERENT GAME. It's allowed to be different. Even IF all this stems from the initial plan of a combined game (which was astonishingly and obviously not REALLY going to happen even back in 2019) and people are still ticked off....tough. It's literally been years.


Where do people get off complaining about exactly all the things that PoE 2 has been advertising for like 6 years? Just. Don't. Play. At the very least, argue about the actual issues of PoE 2 NOT meeting its own stated goals....not some made-up thing that it should be a copy of PoE 1.
