reintroduce races and race rewards
" That's not speedrunning. Speedrunning is competetive. What you just described is like saying you are diving in the Indy 500 by speeding a bit on your way to work. |

" Entering maps at the end of week one into a league and letting people do the heavy lifting from that point on is not speedrunning. Players already have their Voidstones just a few hours into the league, while you are still buying a carry for the basic tutorial fight by the start of week two. That is not speedrunning. Play a league without carries, or embrace SSF, and share your results in an authentic speedrun. " Most singular, indeed

" I do campaign in 10 hours, sleep at 5-6 am then start mapping on day 1 of the league because it starts late at night for me lmao If I entered maps at the end of week 1, it would have been literally impossible for me to do 40/40 this league in 6 days, which is what I did. Also no reason to ever touch SSF when this game is not balanced around it. I'd play it if it was like Last Epoch's SSF with guaranteed deterministic ways to farm what you want easily and quickly, and a good simple crafting system. Right now SSF in PoE is just "play the game but slower", its not fun. Its just a tedious chore. Last edited by Toforto#2372 on Jan 22, 2026, 8:14:47 AM

" I really wish the forum enforced basic standards of honesty and consistency, instead of tolerating number swapping whenever it suits someone’s narrative. Keeper’s release was on the 31st of October. If you entered maps by day one, you would have reached them on the 1st of November. In another topic, however, you made a post on the 3rd claiming you had only just reached maps due to performance issues. By your own timeline, that already places you at roughly four days to reach maps. You also stated that you quit until those issues on your side were fixed, which means you did not meaningfully start mapping until the very end of week one. As a result, you did not complete 40/40 challenges within the first week. This is further reinforced by your claim that it is always hard to grind just to fix resistances, flasks, and other fundamentals at the end of the campaign before starting maps. That stance alone gives a fairly clear glimpse into what likely occupied the remaining days of week one before you actually began diving into maps, along with other potentially unusual lingering elements. For reference, the league itself released at 3 PM EDT my time, which would be 9 or 10 PM your time depending on where you live in Europe. Doing very basic elementary-school math, the time from the initial launch to 5–6 AM does not add up to 10 hours, so once again the numbers simply do not line up. By the 13th, which is almost two full weeks after the initial release, you had completed buying your challenges. That is the actual timeline, regardless of how it is reframed here. Once again, I challenge you to do a no-carry run next league, or better yet in an SSF league. That would be the ultimate proof of your alleged speedrunning ability. Many of us would genuinely like to see those results, especially since SSF has become very manageable over the years. Someone who claims to be a dedicated grinder playing sixteen hours a day should have absolutely no issue with this mode, which does not align with the actual playtime narrative being presented. " SSF isn't fun, so nah. I would only ever play it if I can get gear and kill bosses exactly as fast as I can in Trade with carries. And right now SSF is faaar away from being that. I'm already speedrunning challenges by buying carries super fast and that's good enough for me. Just because I'm a NEET who plays 16 hours a day, doesn't mean I don't value my time. Playing SSF is a waste of my time, I got much better stuff to do. Don't gotta prove anything, I know I'm talented at completing challenges fast kekw And besides that, I literally only bought carries for T17s and uber bosses, everything else I did myself. The only reason I didn't do that content myself is because it would be too annoying to do. |

" Oh people already do two voidstone runs in SSF in under 10 hours, which is already way way faster than what you manage in trade league even with carries, somehow only getting both voidstones by the end of week one, so yeah it is definitely possible. " Are you certain? I think you’ve already shared an insight far more revealing than most would feel comfortable sharing on an online gaming forum. " Because, quite simply, you can’t truly prove that, especially since you’ve already demonstrated the exact opposite of your claim. This derail is extremely silly.
Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.
Stop trying to make people play the game like you do. If they don't enjoy it how about just leave it at that? |
