ascendancy trials are TRASH content.

Yeah, it's kind of hilarious in a grim way.

I've got 100% Atlas passives done. I can delete Uber Arbiter and the other pineapple bosses in about 10 seconds. Even some absurdly juiced T16s are only "annoying" because a random mob offscreen decides to cosplay a ballistic missile launcher.

But Suckhamas? Still sucks. Still manages to be weirdly difficult in a way that has nothing to do with my build or my skill and everything to do with the content being designed like a spite puzzle.

Balanced? Hell no.

THIS !!!!
This is exactly my experience as well.
I feel like the Afflictions in both Trials are worst than juiced maps.
But Trial of Sekhemas with the Honour feature is the worst thing that I have ever encountered in any genre/game, not only in ARPGs, in any genre.

Sure , the idea is nice and all, but the impelementation is poor.

I was talking to a friend a few days ago and he asked me why I don't buy supporter packs.
Well?!...Because I hate being punished by "The Vision" and until this changes, I won't buy a supporter pack

Trials have a really bad design flaw in that it expects you to learn an entirely different set of rules JUST for it,or become strong enough/buy someone strong enough that you can just steamroll it without any issue whatsoever.

Avoid getting hit, think and plan ahead, dodge... yup, entirely different set of rules than anything else in the game.

If you play melee it's inevitable , you get hit by projectiles or directly by melee mobs.
Trial of Sekhemas are bad especially for melee characters.

Because it's the problem with getting close to the enemy to farm charges, do damage, etc
The problem is not with weak Relics, the problem is that for melee characters you get hit and loose Honour, not HP.
This seems to be one of most made topic in all of the "beta".

Will be interesting to see what Tencent does with the game decision.

for melee characters The trial of sekhemas is annoying. but for non-melee builds it is just boring

Everyone that gets hit in there loses honor, but melee loses LESS. They changed it so that honor damage scales UP with distance from the enemy. I've beaten it with melee, it's not hard. Get a couple honor resistance relics (which I've never bought or farmed for, just took what dropped randomly) and it's even easier.

Hopefully something happens.
If it takes daddy stepping in then so be it.

quit the league initially because of them.
came back for private league to give it another run, quitting again.

ascendancy trials are FUCKING GARBAGE. absolutely nothing has ever driven me away from a game harder than them.
ive killed every boss at the hardest difficulty more times than i can remember, i can easily farm the most juicy maps.

if trials arent massively changed next league im just done with POE.
basically nobody likes the mechanics. we know it, you know it, they have been despised since poe1.

time to get your heads out of your asses GGG.

it's more likely that your build is trash, and your understanding of the game mechanics is trash and garbage.

you need to put in more effort to learn and play the game better. sorry to say this. but it's what it is.

I disagree. Both trials expect you to learn skill sets that are super useful in all parts of the game. Namely, just how powerful dodge is and how powerful good mechanics are.

I would strongly encourage any PC player using mouse and keyboard to get a controller, even if you only use it for sekhamas. I think it might change your opinion.
