On the assumption that it does in fact do 19% more minions per level, level 9 is 152% more minions, which is x2.52.

We'll see what it actually is, but its not beyond the realm of possibility. Comparing that scaling against empower for my build for example, my level 6 empower on the build I had from previous league adds roughly 51% more damage as well as about 35% more life per minion, while a level 6 convening scaling 19% per rank would be 95% more minions. It's huge on the dakka for sure if it works that way, but not totally beyond reason in comparison with the empower which does both dakka and enormous minion survival.

We'll see in a few days once some people get some overleveled convening gems into play, but considering that the net result accounting for dropping other woke gems will probably be in the range of 80%-90% more final damage of minion builds compared to last league, and that no minion build I know of outside of animate weapon and mirror grade animate guardian can reasonably break 100m dps prior to this change...basically what I'm saying is as a 25 year ARPG minion main, a guy can hope for the edge of spotlight for the second time ever right? I want my build to be number 17 again!

I did not consider the corrupted Dialla's you mentioned, pushing the support gem super high. That would be so nutty lol. Man...imagine that with like SRS or spiders lol.

Or like....standard-version Baron strength stacking zombie build. Running around with something like 60+ zombies all hitting like a truck. I currently have a strength stacker with over 6000 strength in standard just for giggles.....legacy baron transforms that into 20 zombies, 7 from gem, +2 from potential pushed quality, +2 from the tree, and then x2.52 lol. Bloody hell
