3.15 was bad and some of these changes seemed really last minute half-asleep weird.

3.23 is broader, deeper and much stronger (if you actually used available options). I routinely revisit my builds and to see number of alt-qual supportive skills that actually fixed the build (leech from Blood Rage, reflect immunity from Elemental Attack Damage, freeze from Arctic Armour or aura reservation enchant to fit that 4th 50% aura) gone is frightening

what is more important - people are so happy about loosing A LOT of their power, convenience and build potential just because Falling Zombie. had GGG released all the gems but without this single one - reddit would riot. smart move

I think they changed the gem description after the initial announcement, because the descriptions don't match and wiki has the old 3.23 description. The old version was lacking the line regarding the burst around the player, and the skill would be unusable if that was the case. In that case yes, the new version looks better. I'm not sure if this was an error on GGG's part, but doesn't matter. My point stands for other skills.

I will tell you why we are happy. Because we are getting tons of new gems to play with and the power "you lost" in your old builds doesnt mean anything. Your build doesnt need 100M DPS. It will be fine even with 10M DPS for everything but uber bosses (which 99% of people ignore anyway).
YOu lost PAPER DMG that you wont even notice in game because evertyhing was already dying in 0.1s.
Thats why most of us dont give a fuck.

most players arent and for them this change is dramatic loss of power. 100m and 80m is no difference, but 1m and .8m are two completely different builds

and yet - this group. group of players barely moving along cries with joy while their build potential for next league gets slaughtered

oh and these gems.. people are still going to start and stay with the same old builds. noone will move from Tornado Shot to Ground Slam, not a single player is going to do it.

Ofc no one gonnna switch from TS to Ground Slam because TS will still be "the best" skill in enitre game. But someone wmight switch from RF to other skill ;)

if your build did 1m dps then thears is no chance in hell this builds used lab enchants or alt quality gems that cost more then this 1m builds can make in months. this builds did not loose any power since they did not have that power in a first place. lets not pretend about that
