POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

After fix is not possible to play. Game crash in the main menu...

I have same problemn for in Trial OF chaos :C

It got worse for me too after the latest hotfixes. It would crash 3-4 times each time I open a new map. It even crashes on the first loading screen (right after the GGG gears when the game is started) or HO loading.

What got the situation a little better was to switch from DX12 to Vulcan but it still crashes once or twice every couple of maps.

The only way to avoid full PC freeze requiring a hard restart is unassigning one of the CPU cores from the game's afinity in the Task Manager, so the PC keeps working and I can kill the game when it freezes. This is very annoying though because it needs to be done every time the game is started.

Yes, i've noticed the same. poeuncrasher doesn't even work most of the time now, whereas before it worked 95% of the time. awful.

I have the same exact setup.

PoE Uncrasher works until it doesn't. Have fun in the meantime.

So yeah, gonna bump this thread.
Recently the game started crashing and locking my pc on almost any location transition.
Really want to continue playing, but i don't want to fry my PC.
Early access bugs are one thing, but destroying customers' equipment is entirely unacceptable.
And even if it is a problem with Windows' updates, the game devs should be the ones addressing it. They were the ones who made Windows their target platform.

Or, for god's sake, at least acknowledge the problem.

Not IT specialist, but I dont think it is windows updates fault, just judging my own situation.

Game was crashing more and more with every patch / hotfix.
I started on Win11 24H2- everyone on reddit and other places were blaming 24H2 update.
Wiped my ssd and reinstalled windows to win 11 24H2 again- still crashing
Wiped ssd again and installed win10 22H2- still crashing
Now updated win 10 to win 11 23H2- Still crashing, no difference what so ever

I'm a software deveoper as well GGG. How can I help to solve this issue?
It's quite frustrating. I can dump the game when the game is hanging, would this help?
