POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

It seems that issue also applies to the AMD X3D CPUs, which looks to be the culprit.

4080 super, amd ryzen 7800 x3d... my PC was brand new march 2024. I went all out and got the best stuff I could. I can run CS2 and Hogwarts Legacy on ultra high. But this game for whatever reason freezes my whole PC on loading screens unless I'm running POE uncrasher in the background.
Crash Topic has over +800k views adn +7900 replies, GGG cant fix it, because they are incompetent.

I know that some people are experiencing the issue on older versions of Windows and Linux. But I'm also convinced that the issue would be solved for 98% of the people in this thread if you at least TRIED downgrading to 23H2. Most of the time when I see someone post their specs it's always 24H2, like the guy above me.

Again, I'm aware that this issue happens to different versions, but it's so damn simple to downgrade and it will solve the problem for almost everyone. At this point, anyone in the thread who is complaining AND is on 24H2 is just downright trolling

I really want to downgrade, but I dont know how. You say it's simple. Can you please tell me how to do it?

Im having same crashes with an Ryzen 5 5600X tho.. It may be related to AMD cpu's itself rather than the "X3D" versions of them

I'm pretty sure it's happening on intel CPU's too, so at this point, nobody has any clue what is causing it.
Yes, I am with Intel experiencing nightmare.

Today, once again wiped my hard drive, reinstalled win11 24H2 back and crashing crazy. Can't even play the fkn game
Had win 10 22H2 , win 11 23H2 - same story.

One thing in common is nvidia 4070

Someone I know on Discord, who works in IT, told me this. The issue of the crashes is that Window's internal scheduler has been changed -

Nah, it's across the board. It's Windows internal scheduler that has changed while Microsoft probably forgot that they changed documented APIs without noticing game devs. In fact, Intel's newest CPU (12th gen and up) are more eager to the bugs as those require 2 schedulers. One of my friend's Tarkov discord with 2k active players are having massive issues, Intel or AMD isn't a factor.

The X3D may come off as more frequent simply by the fact it's an issue affecting mostly gamers, and the X3D chips are the gamers' choice for CPUs.

The issue stems from the program (game) not being aware of the current CPU or GPU load %, which in turn can lead the game to saturating 100% of the CPU, effectively making Windows crash. Hence why the bug often happens during load times.
