I also changed my review on Steam to "not recommended". I advocated so much for PoE2 and GGG, disappointed from the radio silence from GGG on the issue despite the pleading from their cusotmers.

They are burning so much good will from thousands of their fans because of how they are handling this multi-threading problem.

WRONG. Sir, stop posting false information in this important thread.
I have an Nvidia 1080Ti + Intel i7 8700k and my PC is crashing as well.

Also dunno about ppl having issues on 23H2, no issues here on latest W10 and W11 23H2, i had issues only with 24H2 in both games (PoE1 and PoE2)
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3594126/page/247#p25696619 I had issues on my 6950XT that isn't even using Windows from as early as December 19th.

Like many I thought it was 24H2 related but the issue persists on 23H2 and Windows 10. Even Linux (Mint) didn't help. Though, I had this exact issue with PoE 1 during Settlers on my main machine but didn't give it much thought back then other than just not playing the game.

Just came home to a patch that was about 300MB. Can't find any notes on it or what they did. Did it help at all?
Didn't fix it anything for me unfortunately. Haven't been able to play since last patch
hope they figure that stuff out faster than they have so far.
gonna end up with last epoch numbers ;)
Well I built myself a mostly new PC, upgraded my circa 2018 intel i7 CPU, MOBO, 16gb ram, and m.2 SSD to an AMD Ryzen 7 the appropriate mobo, 32 gb of ram, and a new m.2 SSD. I kept my Nvidia 3060 video card. Prior to the upgrade I ONLY had this issue when I accidently got the 24H2 upgrade and it stopped after I rolled back the update.

Well I can't roll back the windows install on this new build to something before 24H2 and now I get the freeze. Happened 3 times already this afternoon, just recently twice in a row - froze while re-entering a map, and then after reboot froze while trying to get to the login screen. I REALLY don't like force shutting down my mostly brand new PC.

I've updated all my drivers after the freezes started and flashed my bios to the latest available version to no avail.
