POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

"
Did they just implement this temporary solution for Path of Exile 2, or did they implement it for the first game as well? Are they even aware that the same issue exists in both games?

i dont see any patches for poe1

Have the latest nvidia drivers.
Still freezing. Still crashing.
Still pissing me off. Tnx ggg.
If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.
bump

Still same problem after patch. Please GGG, don't put serious issues as fixed when people are still experiencing the exact same bug and what was released was labeled a "potential" fix before release.

Please give us a --disable-multithread-on-load launch option so that everyone can play what is a really good game otherwise.
This was said in their state of early access post:

"The worst of these is a full system freeze that has occurred since Windows 11’s 24H2 update. We still don’t know exactly what caused this problem, but we have deployed a workaround that seems to be preventing the freeze. We are working with Microsoft to find a better long term solution."

Oh, some insight at least. When was this communicated?

Good: they are still working on a long term solotion, they think this is the worst crash which it clearly is. But during the live stream a while back they only adressed nvidia related chrash to desktop.
Bad: they think the workaround solved the problem.
Ugly: they still think this is a 24h2 issue. 24h2 made it worse, maybe. but other games seems to handle 24h2 pretty darn well and players report freezes on earlier versions as well.

well, they did mention a freeze, but for another game, when exiting, but who knows.. worth a try maybe.

Yes, other games handle it so well most Snowdrop engine games crashes... until most recent NV driver and windows hotfixes, before Ubisoft use some workaround to fix that but that workaround reduced performance.
