POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Why do you give the same advice over and over again, and do it yourself? The player should not change anything in the processor settings, or try to find the "right" setting in the game to play it. What nonsense. Play other games, maybe then the developer will understand the real scale of the problem and solve it faster.
GGG should advise players cease from playing the game if they are experiencing this error, as this could potentially cause permanent damage to their PC hardware. Please be responsible and fix it asap!
havent been able to play today, freezing at first loading screen.
Hi All,

The solution is to use Vulkan API. I had crashes every 30mins on loading screen. Played the whole day with 0 crashes with Vulkan.

All this forced shutdowns can kill your SSD.

RTX 4090

I highly doubt they will fix it anytime soon

only solution for me is: disable multithreading (which tanks performance especiaally in the cities) before I am going to teleport or enter some new instances/doors etc.

no crash last 24hours

This. I can't play the game anymore. Since I login and it goes to the first loading screen, my computer freezes. Every. Single. Time.

it is
as stated in their important issues and theyve said to send them dxdiag

and ofcourse it can damage your cpu aswell ,aswell as the cooling etc
Well atleast I can confirm that hardware definitely isn't the fault. Installing Linux as dual boot and running poe with proton is completely functional, played through the last 2 maps of act 3 without any issues.

So the same hardware running Linux and pretending to be windows for Poe runs fine, but boot back into windows and the game crashes attempting to load into the game instantly.

The age of linux gaming begins.
