+30 Spirit not granted (King of the Mists, Gembloom Skull)

100% what Whack said.
This was driving me nuts and thanks to Whack I figured it out. I want to clarify one thing...because clicking the right thumbstick didn't do anything for me. Walking behind the tree, you will not see two items on your screen at the same time which is what I kept looking for. I accidentally found it due to a sharp eye. I play console. So what I noticed is this: Walk up to the tree behind it like Whack said. I see Gembloom Skull with the A button symbol over the top of the Gembloom Skull name to interact with it. When I clicked A button, the store opens up. I got annoyed I didn't see the second skull. and was ready to give up. I closed the store. I took two steps to the right and suddenly I noticed. The A button symbol was no longer over the top of Gembloom Skull, but it was on the right hand side of it. I took two steps back to the left in my original position and sure enough the A button is over the top of Gembloom Skull. So once again, I took two steps right and when the A button was on the right hand side of the name Gembloom Skull I clicked it and hell yes! I picked up the skull. Yeah, this needs to be fixed.
I'm not sure I'm having the exact same issue. I just managed to die shortly after defeating the King of the Mists on cruel, didn't see the skull in the drop on screen at all before reviving. I now have a charm as a quest reward, no loot, no ritual rewards and a bricked character missing 30 spirit. Does anyone know if one can file a petition to get the skull in the meanwhile while they iron out these issues? |

Same problem. I got the drop on my first run through, but not my second. And It isn’t behind the shrine.

The skull dropped/appeared for me after I interacted with the ritual shrine not on king death. Took a bit of, on controller, maneuvering to grab it since it was overlapped on the ritual shrine

same. completed 4 times now. skull with a plus is still open. never got a spirit drop. at the end of act 2. sucks with no spirit.

Is there confirmation that the King of Mists on Cruel drops the +30 spirit again? I've heard a lot of people say no.
This is a big topic with a lot of people having issues, someone at GGG needs to set the record straight if this is some kind of mistake. My second character didn't get the +30 spirit drop from the king of mists on cruel either. Last edited by MrSmiley21#1051 on Dec 16, 2024, 2:43:42 PM
