Not every final act boss in this game needs to be Malenia blade of Miquella difficult lol.

Ain't dying a lot. Just saying the area sweeping poison spears felt overtuned. I got lucky and found a couple amethyst rings. Not everybody is going to have that same luxury (im ssf) and just think she needs tweaking. I don't think every aspect of the boss fight is bad, the AOE flame blast stuff it gives you enough time to react and you can literally just walk around and occasionally roll most of it and theres a safe zone near the end.


That poison arena sweeping final attack is mad cheap though and needs tweaking.


You can dodge all those poison spear throws btw.

Simply put, because of the sheer duration of arakaali's web attacks + her cronies firing shit off and then the final wave with no effective holes. It feels terrible to interact with and thats where i think the problem in this boss fight lies.

yea viper boss suhks plz just make it a bigger area to fight in, its not even fun or fair especially in groups
This even discounting all the bugs associated with her being glitched so u can't finish, her getting pushed out of the fight with frost walls. This fight needs revisiting both in an interaction and bug front of adjusting how it functions.


This isn't just opinion anymore it is fact.


Remember, this is a feedback forum. I have given clear cut issues regarding the fight, some ideas on how the devs can tweak things moving forward and the fact that there is a fair discourse in terms of what people think (not just me) that this fight in its current state isn't in a good spot as it stands.

No mob or boss in the game should have invulnerability phases and Viper is by far the worst offender in that regard.

Also, while I can live with the spears because you can dodge roll the attacks if you time it right, spamming the whole ground with chaos damage AOE fields is just plain unfair, especially since most players probably don't have a lot of chaos resistance.
yeah she is the cheapest boss fight and you don't even get to kill her
Killed Doryani first time with no problems at all, took like 15 deaths to Viper. If the final act boss is easier than a throw away progression boss there is a problem, same was the Molten Vault boss is, but if you dont have the DPS to kill him youre going to die to him regardless. Pretty senseless balancing there.
Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!
