rate the endgame from 1 to 10
3/10
boring and not rewarding at all |

1/10 but great potential here to add much more interesting gameplay mechanics and content. Atm it is so grindy and boring map after map the same thing almost looks and feels the same. Early map tiers give very bad loot. You have to grind and grind to get to interesting stuff. It's better for early endgame experience to have interesting choices to make with the nodes like Slay the Spire or take some inspiration from the roguelike games such as darkest dungeon series

0/10, especially considering how much they talked about "focusing on the endgame".
Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.

" Good point. With requirement to juice map first, there is no feeling of exploration, because there is nothing really to explore unless you put it there first. |

2/10 and honestly it's kind of sad considering how much they patted themselves on the back with it and prioritized this over finishing the campaign.
1 life is bad. The loot doesn't feel better than the campaign. In the transition from normal -> cruel you really feel like you're dropping more loot, but for early maps there is no such thing. There's no fun in running a map, being lured into a false sense of security only to be jumped by a couple offscreen enemies that stun and kill you within a couple frames. There is too much spam, my skills overlap that of enemies so I can't even see the DoT or other bs ground effects. Why does my poison cloud look exactly the same as the cloud enemies can fire? I can't tell what's mine or where it's safe to even stand. In short, maps have the exact same problems as poe1 except it's now also more punishing because apparently losing experience wasn't punishing enough already. I feel like endgame maps need a complete redesign and toned down significantly, oh and remove rarity entirely while you're at it. |

As a 93 Spark Archmage with pretty much BIS gear, I can’t force myself to setup another mapping session with this god awful tower system. It’s miserable. I don’t want to do it. I just want to blast maps. It’s literally a time wasting event just to get to what I want to do.
Don’t get me started about 1 shots and 1 attempt at bosses that take 300 maps to get to. The end game is broke. And horrible. I understand GGG is on break but a quick post saying “we hear you, changes coming” would help break the silence. Endgame - 2/10 One of the most unenjoyable end games I’ve ever played. " PoE1 atlas is just better, infinite atlas makes each map infinitely meaningless Turns out inflation applies to map size instead of just economies. They could just take the current atlas, make it finite and the thing would be improved. |

Endgame specifically is a 2/10 for me.
1 portal feels a tad rough, would like 2 at least. Can't sustain waystones to save my life, yes with correct atlas points and juiced stones on boss maps. Overall feeling of dryness or lack of reward for the risk. Not really a fan of the atlas tree, just feels like less options overall. Can't really feel anything I put points into but maybe I'm just in the unlucky %. There are pros I poe2, just unfortunate that the majority of them seem to end after the campaign. With obvious exceptions being great visuals, audio "feel". |

" 100% agree. The biggest issue with endgame is the slow boring progression system where you only get 1 chance to win and that grind aaaaalll over again if you fail. It should not be 99% boring 1% fun. Taking a leaf out of Jonathan's playbook, take a risk and make endgame run-based, kind of like your roguelike games like Slay the Spire. You make a run, every choice and run is interesting and consequential, and reap the big rewards if you win |

Most progression is gonna be not really accessible for most non-meta builds with reasonable/good gear so really tough for SSF.
Game does not respect players time if they are not stacking MF on gear which some non-meta builds have a hard time doing. Broken trade league economy where exalts are worthless and casual players have absolutely nothing to contribute like they may as well just play SSF because they suck at the game and cant stack MF on their inefficient builds. It is not enough for veteran PoE players to be able to have exclusive access to the best gear like ingenuity belts that lets be honest casual players will never get they also want to gatekeep the game in a state where casual players hit a wall and can't advance further because the game is only for "hardcore" players. Unless they make currency drops tied more to kill speed instead of rarity and breach stacking casuals won't be able to have any stake in the trade market since people who know what they are doing are farming at a 30 to 1 ratio which means casual players are really wasting their time if their goal is to collect currency to trade for upgrades since the crafting system is unlikely to hit what mods you need on your gear and you end up bricking 99% of the time. Endgame maps are pretty boring and repetitive and the pinnacle stuff takes forever to collect in order to fight the boss that you may or may not win against if you lose you want to kys. 3/10 endgame |
