rate the endgame from 1 to 10

Think it's a solid 7/10. Better than most other games.

I wish they brought back every map having an (optional) boss - maybe make them really hard. I dunno. But maps are a lot more sterile without them.
I rate it poe1/10.
1/10

The campaign (especially A1) and boss fights were amazing. Grinding maps was a POE 1 endgame. I do not want to engage with juiced maps as the optimal way to play after the campaign. I want to do strategic party play and more boss fights with interesting mechanics.
7/10

From a SSF point of view

Haven't really played POE 1 in years but I actually like the atlas system. I think some adjustment to the death penalty and add more unique boss encounters would make it more engaging.

Explaining how certain map features work would also help. I find it odd that we have Breach, Delirium, Unique Bosses and Expedition but you are never explained how any of these actually work when back in POE 1 I know they would introduce it to you early so you understood it. Perhaps they plan to do it in later acts not released. Add a tablet for unique bosses (not sure if this is a thing since I'm only in T8 maps)

Better crafting is a must, allow deterministic stats (to some degree). Right now the entire end game loot system being RNG is hit and miss. Took almost 30 levels until level 80 to get even a decent weapon upgrade. Maybe have ways to eliminate low tier rolls since we have "active" items that will boost vaal orbs or alchemy orbs why not have something that boost tiers so they can only roll t6 or higher...for example.

Ok, lets see...
- I can't find equipment better, than what I had obtained during campaign, because of crafting system being absolute cancer, items dropped are utter garbage, and materials to craft something (beyond of just making the item yellow) are not dropping at all.
- Because of the poor craft, stupid and poor drop table and quantity or crafting orbs, I can't progress the game at all. Hells, I can't even finish the 3rd ascension because it literally made to GEAR CHECK you, not to skill check. Which is only adding frustration with the game in general and with warrior class in particular.
- Because I can't find/craft better equipment and, therefore, can't progress the game at all, it makes the "endgame" content bunch of repeated attempts at bashing my head with The Wall, while occasionally being one-shot with some random rare mob-boss, that has some killer combinations as hindrance + time bubble + break armor + volatile chaos orbs. "FUN'.

3/10

P.S. about what I consider a poor, and stupid, drop table. You find the mace. It is level 68 mace. Blue. You check it, it has T1 suffixes. T1, CARL! WHY IN THE HELLS, someone would want a LATE GAME MACE with EARLY GAME SUFFIXES attached to it??!!!!??!?!?!?!!!!111 WHY? Make it make sense, please! I want to progress the game, to find some better armor and weapons, but I am literally UNABLE to do so, because what I found 30+ levels before that, during the campaign, is BETTER, than the LATE GAME DROP! This is not just a disrespect to your time and efforts! This is just a giant middle finger to all the gamers!

3/10. Too limited camera which makes gameplay too straightforward, mobs are dying too fast which also simplify gameplay. Overall, it only requires reaction almost without making any decisions. Current league mechanics aren't adapted to PoE 2.

Example of endgame I like would be Synthetik — isometrical tactical shooter rpg, kind of similar gameplay to PoE 2 but way more tactical and interesting.
Give it a 3 at best.

The maps are tedious and boring. Just repetitive kill rares and back tracking

No map bosses. Un intuitive map design when it comes to layout especially when it involves the tight spaces and ritual or the insane mob bulrush of breech, Delirium is okay and Expedition is meh as far as loot.

Waystone maintaining is difficult without dropping a few tiers and farming.
1 portal is garbage. Losing the Boss fights and what not on death is garbage.

They think the game is 6 months to a year out, I dunno to me it seems more like a year to a year and a half. Game is in a shit state with balance.
5/10

- Atlas feels absolutely generic and boring considering its generated nature.

- No real way to customize your mapping experience until very very late in the game due to league specific skillpoints which are way too hard to obtain and take too much effort to work on, so that by the time you actually can utilize that mechanic you are bored to death by normal mapping.
No favoured map slots, no way to realistically choose map types you enjoy, forced to run augury type of maps 80% of the time.

- Atlas passive tree feels uninspired and boring too - Nodes dont really significantly change the experience. Also basically everyone is forced into taking all the waystone sustain nodes because otherwise you simply will not be able to run higher tier waystones.

- Crafting is not crafting, its literally just gambling, theres almost nothing deterministic about it. Omens are a joke, essences are a joke due to how rare they are (greater).

- Towers are absolute waste of time
- Losing node modifiers on death is makes every reattempt at the node feel like a waste of waystones and time.

- Jucing via Tablets is bad - Need to find the right zone for your map type WITH enough towers and then hope the modifiers actually land on decent nodes together with those from other towers. Thats multiple layers of RNG just for the process of getting to it - not even considering the RNG for tablet drops and modifiers itself.

- Game feels like every system had its deterministic components replaced with RNG garbage.

I don't know what rating to give it, but it's bad. Or should I say boring? I really don't see the point. Im stuck at tier 9-10 maps cause I just get bored and make a new character. The campaign on the other hand is great, 10/10, best ARPG out there.
