100k left your game GGG

I stopped playing a couple days ago. Can't bring myself to care about the game while it's actively trying to make gameplay punishing not difficult. Developers don't have a clue how to make a good feature so that's insight into future updates. Game will be a colossal failure within 3 months. I might even ask my CC for a refund from the game because I don't think they deserve to charge for EA only to still be beta testing the game. You should be paying us GGG to play this poorly assembled game. POE 1 was trash don't take too many notes from a game no one plays and died out before it even got popular.

OP, the 100k player drop is nothing unexpected. Initial surge is always going to be massive

You know what's funny is that people said exactly the same thing for lost ark, and also the other amazon title comes to mind, to be clear 100k people from 500k is a huge decline and not one any business wants to suffer...
It is still early days but combine that with the influx of negative reviews, it doesn't paint a positive picture, as much as I want it to.

BTW I am not saying its dying etc, just stating historical similarities with other popular for release games.. hopefully they can lift it.

I myself am disappointed with some thing, my review is on steam, and hope one day they can cater to those of us that already have challenging lives, and don't need it in our game time as well as those that do.

As a die hard tryharder that do things 99.99% won't. Can't agree more. I will never ever ask for any kind of tediousness or difficuly in a video game. If you want to take something and put it into a skillcheck like I do with most games, do it yourself. Most of these people don't put any effort in anything in life, but want to suffer when they turn on a freaking video game? Hello?

I have never seen such a loser behavior, and it is hilarious. I also come from a speedrunning/ironman challenges background. Let me tell you, people really aren't as skilled and don't like challenge as much as they pretend. We are really lonely.
They do adore the illusion of overcoming a challenge few can, in other words: people right now are trying really hard to be special snowflakes.

your comment isn't even congruent and makes zero sense. You're trying to talk poorly about both players and the game. Anyone with that many achievement badges from POE1 should have their opinions negated as you're based AF. Go back to POE1 you seem to love it there, don't try to make POE2 into POE1 or you'll be playing the same lame game with the same losers who think this is skill based and not luck based. My 6 year old cousin could do mapping in the right gear, this game isn't a challenge its a punishing grind and gear lottery. Perfect scenario for MicroTransactions to make the Devs money on a pay to win game. Won't be shocked when exalted and divine orbs start going on sale in the store. You are a cucklord for the POE1 devs so go play that.

Game is trash, trials are trash, endgame is trash, crafting is trash, mapping is trash the gear is especially trash, and the community? Biggest pile of trash other than the developers

100k decline is super low for gaming standards, thats the one thing you do not understand. There is also no influx of negative reviews. You try to bend reality really hard here but it just doesnt work, does it?
I would be fine with sanctum if they made sacred water a lot more plentiful and gave you a lot more chances to heal.

I got no issues with the hole concept of Honor in general, although it still probably needs tuning for the earlier trials. But having to grind the entire thing possibly without ever getting a chance to heal is ludicrous.
Sadly it's going to decline even worse after the new year. People will be off holiday and that's when we will see the biggest decline. GGG will have a few months to steer the ship, the next decisions they make are critical to the games success.

If they continue with their vision I fear even more players will bleed out
To the guy 'sounding the alarm' that only 400k people are playing poe2 on steam on a friday afternoon work/school day. POE 1 only has 10k people playing on steam.

Let's not make the game like poe1. We might only have 10k people playing.

Yes because using the numbers of a nearly six month old league is totally accurate thing to compare to a one week only game in which most player's haven't made it out of the campaign.

QUICK SOUND TEH ALARM. ONLY 10K PEOPLE PLAYING ON POE1

We need to completely change the game so people stay on longer. poe1 is going to be a failure unless they change the core concept of the game to be like poe2

Not fighting anyone.

I'm asking for arguments.

You have none, other than "I'd like to know private information on players engaging on the forums, with no reason other than to satiate your curiosity".
Fine. Good for you.

I can't see how that's relevant to my post at all.

I don't need to argue, you asked why, I told you "for context". Your inability to understand is not my problem :D

It's not for curiosity, but for understanding where ppl are coming from. You should try it. You know, reflecting... Their profile could show me something that I didn't experience myself, that I could have overlooked, making their point even more valid when I would have dismissed it in the first place.

Also, it doesn't have to be relevant to "YOU" specifically. I didn't want YOUR profile, or I would just have asked.

Edit : btw, "private information" dude, we're talking about character list on a game forum. I'm not asking for your bank details, keep it real :)

In a way you, are.
Are you even aware that you can hide how many supporter packs and contributions you've made? That specifically says something about a person economy.

....and to be blunt, any information you have an option checking a box as "private" is by definition -private, isn't it.
If you think privacy stops at your bank account, you are quite naive. Online footprint is a real thing. I get you do not take that very seriously, but some people do. Respect that.

If someone tells you that they got food poisoning from the local restaurant, do you believe that, or do you demand to go home to their place to check their medicine cabinet and fridge?
Maybe you just had pizza there too and didn't get sick -what normal people do then is ASK. "Hey, maybe it wasn't the pizza, did you check other foods you ate that day".

Everyone that has a private setting or privacy filter doesn't necessarily have something to hide. They usually just enjoy their privacy.
