Massive nerf for most build - GIVE ME SLOW BUT IMPACTFUL POE2 EXPERIENCE

"
2 very different design strategies in POE2. It's as if 2 different teams were at work.

Visually game is supreme. Sound design in 12/10, just amazing, D4 is far far far behind. Skill combos is a real step to nextgen ARPG, towards something new in the genre. Too bad if all of that will be wasted.

We all want some justice for the visual team xD , i think the direction for POE2 is clear, they are just more used to with POE1 design, they are learning, just need to bring down the hammer, soon soon
nah, no need for nerf. popping packs is fun, and if you are running a reasonable build this is in a good spot, what should be done is massive buff to bosses in end game maps. this way you get the fun with packs which are impossible to balance due to the combination of mobs, but map bosses will give you the tacics you want. add map boss every map (they still poof if you fail) make them so hard that even with 6 portals there would be 50% fail rate, apply diminishing return to player dmg vs boss as well so they last min 3min.

They designed the game like all others. If you dont have a uber build its not even worth playing the game. You arent beating half of the end game content without a uber build. If you dont want to fly through the story then try the warrior and slap together your own build like i did and then get gangbanged by the end game content. Even the trials is stupid. You are not doing 3 trials and beating the scorpion boss without a uber build. There are alot of cheap fights and alot of cheap mechanics. Out of everything ive faced so far. The scorpion boss in the trials is the most cheaply made fight ive seen in this game next to the dps check boss in the lava. Ran through him but cant beat mr scorpion. He just jumps in and out of the floor the entire fight and creates a ton of holes in the ground where you sink in and shoot poison everywhere. I think im ready to go back to diablo lol

To both of you, yes everyone have their way of enjoying the game, i still feel it such a shame for you guys to see it that way "endgame is everything", i see what GGG want the game to be from the trailer and talks and i want it to be exactly that, not POE 1 remake, if you guys want to pop packs off screen and power fantasy one shotting boss like Warframe you guys should hope they rework POE1 visual instead.
Also yes, they did say we would feel like a god at the end game, but throwing away all the promise, all the new mechanic we had for POE2 to just do 1 button or 1 combo for all situation is just sad. POE had always been complicated so this will be very hard to balance.
Can your issue not be solved by playing HCSSF warrior?

I hope so!
dont get your hopes up too high, devs said they want this kind of gameplay we have now, it should just take longer to get there
it will just be a more clunky version of poe1

I know they said it, but if we look at the bigger picture — Guilaster is right, they are moving to certain direction from PoE 1, and their words aren't set in stone, I don't see why they couldn't move further when they will see that it doesn't make sense to make a game for noone.
