Massive nerf for most build - GIVE ME SLOW BUT IMPACTFUL POE2 EXPERIENCE
" i dont play poe1 are you aware YOU can play slowly? you dont have to play like everyone else. play ssf and play as slow as your little heart desires YOU are playing fast,.,. then complaining you are going to fast.. makes no sense. YOU are your own problem you probably built the top tier screen clearing build then are here crying about zooming lol. there are literally support gems that make skills slower.. go use those lol Last edited by BrainVs#6980 on Jan 24, 2025, 9:25:53 PM

" It is the style , the identity of the game we are talking here, you should spend more time thinking Mark, think Mark think |

" Define "slowly" on POE2 endgame, because the white/ blue adds will delete your gigantic health (not energy shield) in a matter of second. The true definition of "Slowly" in POE2 endgame means still one shotting mob but move very slow instead of blinking around via skill or temporalis. |

" Please tell me how do you play breaches or rituals slowly? The initial mob spawn already makes 1-button screen clear mandatory. |

" I play SSF casually and I oneshot shit. Even in campaign in Cruel I start to oneshot everything SSF with certain classes. And the problem is - game for the most part is designed that way that either you oneshot shit, or shit will oneshot you. There is no "in between". That's why it is bad, very bad. Then again, making artificial limits like wonderful soultion "ok, just play without a weapon!" is bullshit. Player will always use what game has to offer, because it is game who sets the rules, not player. |

" "True" definition is how POE2 was advertised. Go look at those videoclips. Where you put traps, where you have time to use combo skills to amplify your damage, or to break armor first, because nothing works against armored enemies, where you have time to understand what enemy is infront of you, how it attacks and prepare to deal with it in a right way and all along those lines. |

Obviously, the point is not in making gameplay slower, but in making it such that player could make meaningful decisions during fights. Currently, there is no point to react to any monster differently than immediately press kill button, with very rare exceptions like eternal knights. This is not meaningful at all, you can replace action with clicker game and it would feel basically the same.

" What videoclip? what traps? what combo skill? how to apply all of those when the enemy has either a speed of Usain Bolt, spitting near invincible projectile, or doing both, while all of them hit so hard that your ancestor can feel it. All those official advertisement nowadays felt like it were being made by someone who barely even played the game. Seriously, you struggle with 2-3 white mob in most of their video while you always get surrounded by who knows how many since all of them go inside your screen and die at the same time. If the enemies overall damage are similar to the early game (still hurt but not life threatening even with minimum resistance) then it's fine. Sadly it's not. Also please explain why you need to break armor enemies when all it does is to increase physical damage, while everyone and their dog in season use lightning imbued attack with a penetration level that so high that it simply ignore 2 elemental resistance affix on the waystone. |

" Breaches are okay after patch. Just players who use meta builds cry that breaches are shit now. Last edited by Sakanabi#6664 on Jan 25, 2025, 2:08:08 AM

" Breaches were never the problem. It was insanely good after the the elites reduction, and still good after the nerfs. You insinuate that the breach nerfs is problematic to players that play META build, you don't realize that its even more problematic for players that don't play META build ? Not only non-meta builds still clear way slower than meta build, they will get even less loot and monster kill counts than before. The problem is not breach itself, the problem is that the other options are worse by miles to grind resources. |
