Shaders/DirectX12 huge FPS drop.

Well at least I’m getting some comfort knowing I’m not the only one dealing with this. It's kind of funny in a way seeing people with newer rigs having the same issue just makes me feel like maybe it’s not my old setup after all. But yeah it’s a bummer no matter the rig.

" Yep, its got nothing to do with people's pc hardware when so many differing setups are having similar or identical problems. You can't tell me that someone with a CPU,SSD,GPU 10x stronger than mine and double my RAM has the same loading times, or constantly full shader bar is fine. That's not normal performance for a game lol |

these load times this patch are insane. wtf happened

" Something to do with the shaders, game can't properly load them so its probably acting as if its the very first time its loading all the MTX in a town. That would explain the loading times. Even in an empty Karui Shores my loading time is like 5x that of last patch, and in maps the shader bar stays full for a whole 1-2 minutes before it goes empty(while I'm standing completely still with the game paused). And this is in a Mesa map, which I had done hundreds of times already. The game should have already compiled shaders for all the textures and stuff in that map already. Yet it still takes minutes when usually it should take a few seconds to fetch the already-existing shaders. Something is completely bricked with the game, that's for sure. |

Bump. I'm so tired having my game bricked anywhere from the first map to one hour of playing and having to restart it. And it's awful when it breaks in the middle of a fight I can't just put on a hold, like breach hive/fortress.

Have exactly the same problem and I haven't any clue how to solve it. This only happens with DX12, with vulkan never happens, but, with Vulkan this league the game freezes randomly and then kick you out at the loging screen with the msg: "an unexpected disconnection occurred". So, both renderers are unplayable this league :(

|
" Literally the same case here. Initially played on Vulkan since it runs a bit better than DX12, but the freezes ruined my game far too many times, so I had to switch to this shader'y mess of DX12. Funny, Vulkan typically freezes in the the same situations where DX12 would suddenly decide to break, like Breach encounters or opening any sort of overlay/menu, among others. Very likely related. |
