Phrecia 3.27 patch notes when?

Starting a 17 pages long drama just because OP dared to ask for some additional information...

This idea that people who copy other builds need DAYS to plan what they are playing is just a straight up, bold faced, lie.

Well, we've already learned that we don't make our own builds. We also don't know any build beyond a single suboptimal one, which wouldn’t even work properly due to the different classes. And, unsurprisingly, we also struggle to follow a build guide.

So, for all we know, what we’re seeing is the usual scenario, a lone voice fretting about not having enough time to prepare for the event, trying to pass off their personal struggles as if they represent 99% of the player base. Meanwhile, most players are either already settled on a plan or simply waiting to see what content creator X decides to play.

In the end, it’s the same artificial problem as always, the less than 1% audience trying to masquerade as the majority and manufacture problems where none exists. Truly, the usual performance.

There's also this:
"I don't wanna get baited into a build with overpriced gear and an unfun playstyle"

This isn't something anyone with any basic ability to understand a build would ever say. This isn't something anyone with even one or two league's experience would ever say. This isn't something anyone with a....very narrow....choice in build would ever have to think about.

Heck....the first part isn't even something that even the WORST content creator "league starter" would ever have. At worst, they include a crucial unique item that ends up being 20+c early in the league without telling you.

If you are legit getting "baited" by league starter videos that even trick you into a playstyle you don't want.....years into your PoE career....then patch note release dates are the LEAST of your concern

Dunno what to tell you, it literally happened to me. I tried copying some ballista totem build, the pob looked good and then realized the gear was way too expensive and when I saw how tiny the attack range was that it was basically a melee build I was like "naaaaah" lol, never again.

The time investment of running through campaign on a char, following a leveling pob etc. etc. is huge. Ofc people will be wary and careful with which starter to pick. Do you think I wanna level a new char on day 2?

I don't have psychic abilities that allow me to instantly know how a build feels to play just from looking at spreadsheets, pobs and some videos. I gotta play it first, and that's a huge time commitment. So its normal to take days to pick what you wanna leaguestart. A build needs to feel good to play, be OP and be cheap enough, otherwise I'm just gonna regret following the guide lol

But like patch notes dropping potentially 1-2 days before the event would be really bad.

So tell me.....if all of this is even partially true.....then exactly what good would patch notes do for you?!

You literally just said in this post:
"I don't have psychic abilities that allow me to instantly know how a build feels to play just from looking at spreadsheets, pobs and some videos"
"I tried copying some ballista totem build, the pob looked good and then realized the gear was way too expensive"

It's not "psychic ability"....its understanding of numbers. AKA.....what the patch notes provide you. AKA....what PoB is used for. The entirety of the planning phase.

patch notes dont give you usable info, PoB doesnt give you usable info, and even gameplay videos are unhelpful.

Patch notes are going to provide you with what, exactly? What planning are you exactly doing....when you JUST SAID "I gotta play it first"

Your messaging is coming from like 2 totally different people at the same time. You need the patch notes well ahead of time to plan and research videos....but then all that research and videos is entirely unhelpful and you can only make decisions after playing.

They will let me know what is nerfed, so that I know its gonna be weaker than last event if I had played that build before.

And they will let me know what is buffed. Knowing whats been nerfed and buffed is important for picking which build to follow.

no it isn't.....if like you said just now you don't grasp what the numbers are telling you.

Examples? Plenty of skills have received significant nerfs yet still perform amazingly well in the game. Plenty of skills have received significant numerical buffs yet still underperform (on a budget).

That's how you get baited in guides, Toffy. You think you understand the numbers. And therefore they are of very little help to you and your decision making.

And if you are comparing the SAME BUILD YOU ALREADY RAN for power.....then what planning do you need to do lol.

And even if, for the sake of argument, this is LEGITIMATELY important info for your planning purposes.......THIS would take you multiple days to act on? When you would still need to "play it" to understand it?

Sure, but I can't make builds. I can only follow build guides even after 6000+ hours of playtime. I have no clue how to make a build that works lol

Well Toffy, which one is it? You can only pick one.

Depends how I feel on a certain day. Could be either one, no clue. I don't know when inspiration might strike me do I?
Those two quotes contradict themselves. In one you say you cannot make functioning builds yourself, in the other you say you can. What's there to misunderstand?
