I saw a video about the fight and thought "F*** this S***", it is not for me. Nevertheless, it seems to me that you guys are forgetting that Maven is the "biggest" boss at this moment. It suppose to be hard and we suppose to struggle to achieve it. And it is a new mechanic fight as they never did. I guess the option should be either struggling to achieve it or treat like hall of grandmaster and just ignore. But we should see the bright side and cheer to the fact that there is a innovative fight.
Exiles, pffff!

HoGM is easy in comparison to this BS.
Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.

the problem isnt the mechanic itself, but the ability to skip it without any risk by loging out at the right time.
its a lot different than using logout to avoid death in a bad situation
the intention to logout is there even before the fight starts.
regardless of how well the fight goes the player will always logout.
this is a serious issue and a horrible gamedesign failure.

I see your point but it is this logout so different of logout when Elder "freezes" you? Or when people leave to fill up the flasks? Honestly, I see no difference and the downside is to lose a portal. Kill Maven with or without logging out is something nice.

Making the big boss fight difficult is good. But, it is good only if it involves normal ARPG skills. There should not be a requirement to solve a chess problem, solve a calculus problem, or memorize a string of nonsense, for example.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

not sure what you mean with elder "freeze",
if you mean when he roots you and you simply have to "dash" behind him?
i have never heard of anyone intentionally login out for this unless he really fucked up in that moment.
in the whole elder fight there is no situation where you decide before the fight that you are gona logout.
the logout is a "oh shit" reaction
ppl dont even try to "solve" the maven memory game most of the time, they logout regardless of what is happening in that phase

What are you saying is that by logging out people skip the memory game?
I see. In that case, if Maven/Brain doesn't lose life until next memory game be completed would be a solution, right?
Probably I should take my chances before some like that be done.

Just remove memory game from last phase, and that is.
It is kinda fine in first two phases, but with no regen/-resistances lasers it's much easier to just logout and then return to the fight.

Agree, the last phase definitely needs some improvements. I just die during this phase and then kill Maven and that's it. wow what an interesting game mechanic
kind regards

Hello, I have been playing PoE for several years and I remember my problem with Elder, Shaper and UberElder, I learned to deal with them after many seasons. Fighting them is so easy if you manage their attacks and when fighting them there aren't such big lags and each of their attacks can be avoided in some way. However, in the case of Sirius and Maven However, in the case of Sirius and Maven there is a lot of mega lag and attacks, e.g. Sirius are mostly off-screen. The arena to fight Maven should also be larger or there should be fewer things that happen at the same time.
