Anyone who has any common sense or basic math knowledge will understand how much of a monumental nerf this is if you compare these new gems with the PoB values.
Nerfs just one league after another.
Removed all the alt gems.
Removed all the useful enchants.
Changed the existing gems in ways that end up overall being less dps.
Don't worry, we added some new gems with slight differences in their mechanics so that will make up for everything you lost.
Oh and the new ascendancies that Standard players don't even get until the devs decide it goes core.
All this will make up for everything you lost. Is no one else seeing what's happening?
holy shit stop whining already, on mutliple post threads in a row... majority of the people are happy with the changes and this is literally the biggest meta change we got for a long time, yet you and other standard clowns cry about it, delusional...

Better yet, each time there are some awful changes, let me make sure I defend all of it and praise how good it is so that way you feel better about the situation. Then, everyone's happy and we can sit there with rose-tinted glasses and pretend everything is ok and that the devs are infallible and make 100% correct decisions ALL of the time.
The Affliction Ascendencies won't be added to core. Just like 99% of league specific borrowed Power.
Also just wait till we see everything and how it works out before dooming everything like a reddit user.

Of course I play Standard. Why would I play leagues? I view that as something reserved for beta testers & masochists. If I was forced to start over with a new league every 6 months, I would’ve quit the game a long time ago. I play Standard where there’s decent gear left to play with. For now at least until they decide to remove player power from Standard players too.
