not yet. its awfully expensive. a specter would have to pretty awesome to justify. seems to be an all in thing so far. focus on minions, or none.

I did try river hags. they do spam their aoe cold degen ground effect. but do not cast their drowning instant kill death orb.
the ground effect does not "hit". its a degen.

Tame beast is still a possibility. very high Dex req. but, have some op auras.
Their spirit reservation is a % from what I understand.

no, obviously he's not Built for archmage specifically.
he has negative max mana. and things like climate change "gain % of cold damage as fire damage, does not scale with archmage.

let me swap some stuff around on his tree.
9466 hit,
384 mana cost.
1802 total mana.

AM
12200 hit a 28.8% increase.
498 cost a 29% increase.
1802mana.

closer. actually building for AM, can be viable.


I'll let someone else do the math on cast on crit.

I also have not checked to see if arcane blossom was fixed.


Actually, on other side, for now i run no Archmage, just started using coc/cof. on bosses manabar doesn't really get empty quick, but goes down slowly, t15-t17 map bosses die before it goes down to 0, and i might use mana flask once or twice.

But i don't have 6 links yet, so manacost will increase, but still should last long enough between temporal rift cooldowns, like before

Compare to what most people run going to the left, it has about 30-35% more damage, more curse area, hindered stuff, 1 more jewel socket, reduced manacost, a bit of extra cdr and reduced duration for frost bomb.

While regular tree people run has about 10-15% more energy shield, and slightly more AoE.
Guys can someone explain me how slow works becouse im testing multiple setups and really dont understand it :

in my max setup have Chrono Ascendancy + 32% Blasphemy Temp Chains and 38% Hinder movement speed debuff so its around 90% if im calculate it right.

But monsters is slowed max like 50-60%.

It is bugg or im missing something ?

Greater Glacial Rune (Gain 12% of Damage as Extra Cold Damage) give us around 10% More DPS!

Fire/Lightning Extra Damage is next best choices for damage. Might be good to use one with Echoing Thunder or Echoing Flames for 30% increased Elemental Damage.
The changes to Ice Nova are super interesting. With Astral Projection, I can use it to AOE freeze with 1 cast, (I have lots of increased AOE size) and then I can cold snap it for lots of damage. At least in my setup, I can go back and forth.

Pretty interesting. skips a ton of mana regen, for raw damage.

I don't think I ever bothered giving ice nova quality before either.
20% more damage to chilled targets.

Im real short on supports on my new char. and dont want to just get on the old one. ha.

Runes. huge.
The values are chunky.

24% spell crit
14% of max energy shield as stun resist.
24% mana regen.
18% es recharge rate
35 mana. (this one seems odd. its 35 wand or armor. lesser is 10 armor, 20 wand. 25/30 for mid. 35 mana is a TON of flat mana. but.. odd its equal for greaters.
35 max es. again. thats a big chunk of flat es. (paintmaster has 246% increased for example.
30% increased spell damage. again, thats actually a solid amount.
gain 12% as x.


honestly, I don't think the gain% as x are my favorites.

crit to enable cast on crit, or gain x when crit recently(crit overload, sudden esc, stormcharged, erratisim), is probably my first choice. access to spell crit is gated. AND if you do hit your target, then often can be directly swapped for crit damage.

30% spell damage is solid. look at the passives/work put in for echoing frost, poten incantion, etc.

35Es is a ton of effective hp. 121 es for paintmaster for example.


Scepters were not included.. so this is a big push back to wands.
Another reason the 35es might be the right move. replacing the foci. wand/sceptre.
