Gifted key by friend, but can't log-in on Steam as I'm told I have no access.
This is what is written in the FAQ:
How to redeem a key? Upon purchasing your first supporter pack that includes an Early Access key, that key will be automatically redeemed on the account the purchase was made. You don’t have to do anything else, just download the game client when it’s available and login on launch day! If you're unsure about your status, or want to view any of your keys, this information is available under my-account/early-access. If you have purchased a key and/or have access granted for one PC game client (Stand-alone, Steam, or Epic), but wish to play on another game client, you will be able to do so by claiming a key to unlock access to that client. These are available at my-account/early-access and can be redeemed on the relevant platform's store. Please note these keys only unlock the client in your library, they do not on their own provide early access to your account. As an example, if you purchase a Supporter Pack through the Path of Exile website, you will be able to claim a key to unlock the client in your Steam Library. So those two extra keys are only to add the client to your Steam and Epic library, it doesn't give you access to the early access. So if you gave those keys to a friend they will be able to download the game, but are not going to have access to the EA. I walk alone...

Seems like the OP's issue is a common issue, I understand GGG has a lot to work through. I hope they get people looking at threads like this due to the massive amount of replies it has garnered. I also am in the same boat.

received a +1 key from my friend's supporter pack yesterday.
same issue, - redeemed fine on steam - downloaded on steam - installed on steam - launched from steam - pressed login, redirected to pathofexile.com - logged in existing account, asked to validate email link - clicked email link, page had confirm button, clicked confirm button - back to game, "no early access key linked" - checked account page -> early access : "no key linked" - checked account page -> connections : correct steam id, links to my steam profile - checked shop -> redeem key : entered same key successfully used on steam, "invalid key" - sent support mail, hoping i can play before real launch. :) Death~ |

Bump, I also have the same issue - my account doesn't have access to POE 2 early access, although I've been playing until last week (and also purchased the Ogrim supporter pack).

Unfortunately, we aren't able to assist with this issue over the forums. Please contact us at support@grindinggear.com if you haven't already so we can look into this with you. Be sure to include your Path of Exile account name (including four-digit discriminator) as well as the names of a few of your characters so that we are best able to look into things with you.
If you obtained your early access through purchasing one of the Early Access packs, please also include the transaction ID of the purchase. This can usually be found alongside your receipt of payment provided to you by the payment processor you used. If you obtained your early access by redeeming a key, then the key's status may have been revoked if the original purchase was refunded or charged back. If this is the case, you may want to reach out to whoever you received the key from to check with them regarding the validity of your key. | |
