100k left your game GGG

You would have to ask the 100k players why they have stopped.

I don't dislike the game but atm I am bored. My last character was DD Crit Blood Mage and I went from finishing Act 3 Cruel to 1 shotting every trash pack and killing map bosses (T1-T6? T7?) in scuffed gear. I did that for an hour and logged out.

The first play through was great. My fourth character? Nah. The game isn't "hard" and the "endgame" is just clearing large scarcely populated maps on characters that move slow as hell. Enemies (trash or boss) just melt when you do encounter any combat.

I hope they fix scaling because right now mapping feels far too easy, regardless of what tier you are at. Player power is too much for this early in the game.

just wait until the rest of the act 1 cruel by now crowd gets to maps, tries their first any league content and gets stomped. Then comes across multiple archnem mods thrown together and sees what that feels like and the cost of good upgrades now too boot. Then they’ll want to reroll and try other skills only to realize 95% of skills in this game are a gimmick and not actually useable.
You highlight the toxic gamer mentality. you guys just want an easy ride. no challenge at all. do you ever stop to think what the dev's vision actually is? you're describing how a glass cannon in poe1 can do well in the trials... guess what... this is poe2 and the devs have a different vision. thank god.

I love the trials in poe2. it's like you are actually Earning something due to the challenge.

If you guys don't understand then that is unfortunate. Not everything in this game is meant to be easy.
I HOPE and pray that GGG makes the end game hard and honestly... make act 4 ,5 ,6 harder too. i had the most fun in act 1, 2, 3, when things were more difficult. it's shocking to me how the game is just getting easier as i progress. i'm nerfing myself by not even socketing anything or trading for anything.

That is the normal progression of any isometric ARPG.
It's perfectly normal for a hyped up game (and PoE2 was very hyped up) to lose as much as half of it's starting playerbase within a month.

Everyone's talking about it, a large audience outside the genre who normally wouldn't even notice the game flood in, some like it, others realize it's not for them, some beat the campaign and that's enough, etc.

If you look at any major release you'll notice the same pattern.
Stop blackmailing developers with guesswork reasoned numbers and predictions to get what YOU want.

Maybe the 100k left because game got trivial after the loot patch, and all that will soon be left is zoom to win div/h watch the show while playing
'veteran" crowd. Maybe I should demand less drops, harder mobs and longer health bars, because otherwise it's over.
Please stop ruining the game. If you want PoE 1, go play it.

100k people have been filtered. That's a good thing. The game shouldn't be for everyone.

This comment is so absurdly stupid, it's not even a good trolling.

Reading your comments, all you do is trying to wind people up by being obnoxious. It doesn't make you a good troll. ....it just makes you an obnoxious person.

Do better.

He is kinda right tho.

You are not able to cater to everyone. If they changed stuff up to retain the 100k people by changing the game completely they would loose other 100k that liked it that way.

There is simply 0 chance to make a game that is perfect for every type of player.
People are way to different for that.

If a player who loves really really challenging stuff finds this game too easy what should the devs do? Make it harder to retain him as a player?
If another wants a more relaxing experience wants the game to be more easy what should the devs do? Make it more easy to retain him as a player?

They will most likely aim to find a middle ground to keep as many people entertained as possible. But since its early access the process is hit or miss atm.
Some people get mad that they nerf stuff. Some get mad that they buff other stuff.

This forum is full of people complaining on both sides. Devs will get the feedback and weed out the ones who only complain for the sake of complaining.

And in the end the game will find its place. And it wont be for everyone. No game is.

I love takes like this. They always aim for an argument that NO ONE makes. And then double down on them, despite being completely wrong. Always good for a laugh.
