Maybe the 100k left because game got trivial after the loot patch, and all that will soon be left is zoom to win div/h watch the show while playing
'veteran" crowd. Maybe I should demand less drops, harder mobs and longer health bars, because otherwise it's over.


Firstly, the idea that I am in any position to "blackmail" GGG is beyond idiotic.

I didn't even make a statement.
I ASKED, "how many of the 100k left because of a mechanic most people do not enjoy".

If you did some actual reading and tried comprehending it, the world would be a better place.

So you can personally attack the messenger rather than content with the arguments?

Sure, if someone says "endgame bad" and that person only have a lvl 30 character, I agree.
But that statement doesn't give any criticism, its an assertion.

Why would you need to know anything about the person behind this statement? If you disagree, just make an actual argument base on the supposition.

Well actual difficulty can be discussed (like its hard or its bad players), but psychological factor is serious here.

For many (especially newer) players matter is very depressing.

Does it bother GGG? Idk.

It isn't blackmail, don't worry. That isn't a significant number. That percentage of player loss was probably already part of GGG's roadmap 18 months ago. There's an undercurrent in gaming culture right now to pray for the death of games, and to see catastrophic failure when normal things happen.

New classes, new skills, new ascendancies, new league mechanics, have all been projected as part of early access. Balancing around all of that will take months -- probably more than a year, I suspect. It is going to take a while to address the (real, legitimate) concerns about how the game feels to play.
100k left, so like ANY poe 1 league after 2 weeks.
Are there any good frenzy payoff skills?

My message was clear, to bring context. There isn't the need for any malicious intent behind that (if you want the intent, I focus on facts, and profiles are facts)
The rest is you projecting and bringing some hate where there wasn't any in the first place.

That forum would be so much more constructive and interesting if ppl would just come down their horses, and wouldn't feel offended out of nowhere (I know, I know, it's not specific to this forum :D)

I'm genuinely curious.

It's the worst decision made in POE2 by some margin. And spending some time in the forum confirms this is true for 99% of players. I haven't seen a single person endorsing it, nor defending any criticism it gets.
Not ONE.

The statement "Ascendancies are trash" is the least contended criticism on this forum.

- They are hugely unfair
- They are massively random
- They take a lot of time
- They don't have infinite tries
- They cater to specialized builds, while punishing others
- They are not fun


And you made it part of the mandatory part of the game, where each build gets their biggest and most important power spike.

I LONG for Izaro uber labs with a no regen glass cannon build, compared to these trials.

Do I want the lab back? No. But I would do ten of them over another ultimatum or sanctum run.

This is a no brainer, GGG:

Release ascendancy points for all classes at the end of acts in the campaign.
At least until you have a fair, working, and level trial that is accessible for all build archetypes at the same reference point.

At this point I don't even beg for the trials to be fun, -they SHOULD, I just want them to be fair and doable, not random and gated behind drops.


I love both ultimatum and sanctum. Never played them much in poe1.

Both of them present fun challenges and most importantly are div printers. May I suggest another game like world of warcraft for ya?
Fact Check Time!!! OG is lying about the title alone, ignore the rest of his post.

Why are posts like this allowed? Its obvious he's mad because he doesn't like the design, but to be posted blatant lies, purely because you are upset, shouldn't be allowed.

Not only has the lowest number of player son steam been 183k in the last 24 hours, but you're also talking about midweek of an EA game, when the majority play on the weekend.

Just because you're bad at the game doesn't mean the game is bad. It's more popular than PoE ever was, let that sting, and PoE diehards are having a hard time digesting a game that takes actual skill.

Not only do you have to lie to try and make a point, but you post stuff that anyone can go check for themselves. Oh and I didn't even count the launcher or consoles, so even at its low point was prob still over 300k yesterday.

Good job letting everyone, including the devs, know that you're clueless and that your comment and any future "feedback" should be ignored.

doesn't matter, even then losing 100k in 14days is perfectly normal for poe seasonal content - im most likely quitting soon too. Done with the content sitting at 94 - going to 100 seems way too much of a chore
