I agree and will just repost the possible solution i wrote in my feedback post yesterday.

What could be done instead is:
Each death in a Map removes 1 of its Modifiers starting with the prefixes and then going on to the suffixes. This would allow players to use the full 6 portals of a map and encourage good gameplay because if they die to much they would essentially be left with a basic white map.

Agree. This is not a fun or clever mechanic. Give us back our 6 attempts or 4. Something. 1 death and losing XP on top of it is not it.

I can kill 2 bosses at the same time but get killed some white mob that doing something i didnt see. AND POOOFF map+exp gone. I am ok with exp penality but 1 time maps are bad.

and Im not, at least with current amount of exp:

- bs melee controls;
- level geometry doesn't work at all or textures/models doesn't properly show where u can/can't go etc;
- ton's of visual effects so u can't react properly to on-death crap and stuff.
0/10 decision. kills my interest and fun in the endgame by making it too stressful by default. I'm all in for opt-in difficulty, but this ain't it.
