Phrecia 3.27 patch notes when?
|
Hilarious how several posters got baited by 1 person.
In the ACTUAL thread matter.. I hope they buff harbinger and delirium. They were really like last minute thought and they sent it like that the first time we got phrecia. Not too happy about the idols system myself as I wasnt a fan to begin with but I hope they also do some changes to those as well. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

" It's not being baited if we are discussing exactly what was in the original post. Re-read the OP. Because what you are discussing (though not a bad thing to discuss) is NOT the actual thread matter, its something else entirely. This thread consisted of only 3 things: 1) A demand for a specific DATE on when the patch notes would be released. This request made on the very same day that the announcement came out. 2) Difficulty data specifics because helpless without it 3) Offhand comment that they don't want it as hard or harder than the gauntlet: a rather absurd thing to say because the gauntlet is specifically designed to be HARD hard....and the GGG post about this event specifically states that they REMOVED (rather than added) difficult modifiers in order to keep it reasonable. If we want to discuss what we HOPE is in the patch notes.....well that would be a different thread, probably in the discussion forum. I bet there's already literally a full page of threads like that. There is literally no reason for this entire thread to exist, GGG wrote this which the OP conveniently ignored because he MUST HAVE an exact date (even though that isn't something they have ever done). WHEN GGG????

" Simply naming a build someone has played is not going to make the campaign easier for you, especially since they have mentioned running random and unpopular abilities, which are unlikely to come with guides or provide much useful insight. That matters because you have already mentioned having a hard time, in a game that honestly is not particularly deep or difficult anymore, and players run whatever they want and still handle even tougher challenges like the Gauntlet without issue. Your best bet is to play a popular build with a well-written and easy to follow guide. I could suggest some abilities I personally feel are very strong and underrated, but since half of them are unpopular in the current version, the chances of finding a proper guide are slim, which is likely to cause more struggles than anything else. So if you follow a guide and all for a popular build, and still happen to feel like it’s not easy, at this point I am not convinced the problem lies with the game’s difficulty, but with something else struggling to keep up. step 1: hide characters in account
step 2: claim game is easy very convincing POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences. I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. Last edited by Bosscannon#3325 on Jan 22, 2026, 1:41:38 AM

" Honestly, this is genuinely convincing. Words based on real experience carry way more weight than someone with an open profile insisting their character is flawless. You see a lot of people complaining that the game is too hard, that certain content is unfair, or that some challenges are impossible, but most of the time, these complaints come from players running suboptimal builds that fall apart as soon as they try content beyond their strengths. Even if someone’s profile were hidden and they genuinely struggled, they’d rarely say the game is easy. More often, they’d either stay quiet or join the chorus of complaints about difficulty, even while making choices that make success unlikely. The reality is that the game is in one of the easiest states it’s ever been. Many mechanics have been softened, resources are more accessible, and a huge variety of builds work reliably without extreme optimization. What seems “hard” these days is often less about the game itself and more about people trying to brute-force content outside their capacity or ignoring the strategies and tools that actually make things manageable. Your words based on your experiences only carries weight to yourself.
To others your words without observable proofs carry no weight whatsoever as others dont live your experiences. In case you failed to read between the lines: we think that the majority of "too easy" crowd constantly runs builds that are proven OP, such as but not limited to: stacking where pumping single stat gives both defense and offense, some known op combo: ralakesh charge shenanigans for example, no wearing pinnacle or uber pinnacle any source drops before your character has cleared the drop source (ethical) or sink way more hours than a normal person with a job can, which impairs their judgement of overall difficulty of the game. Cause if we look at the game from the perspective of "my character is too weak for x so I just sink however many more hours farming and simply buy power from trade site until I am no longer too weak for x" then I will agree that a statement could be made that the game is "too easy". Or if "i am playing a skill or an item combination that carries itself and allows me to skip most expensive gearing entirely"... Playing the game in such ways serves to reduce its potential and scope. Builds get super repetitive, different but the same, you just assemble what calculates to be optimal. Skill gems, passive nodes, uniques, affixes - entire swaths of them, majority of the game in fact is not being played. And when they do get played they need to be propped up by gear, often unethical, from trade site or "crafting" which only the sweatiest of players have the tolerance to put up with enough to learn it. If you are at a point where you can literally take a frostbolt or some other sad piece of trash skill and make it clear all game in self cast mode in a ssf environment within a healthy 100 hours of playtime then I will accept your perspective that the game is "too easy". But it will be a stronger indication that you have outgrown the game than it would be an indication that game difficulty needs increasing across the board for all players to struggle with. If game gets balanced to be challenging to its best players it will eventually only be played by those best players... and those willing to play it in an incredibly dull manner strictly following the meta and using the trade crutch. To anyone closer to middle of the bell curve this game is sufficiently challenging and would remain so even if, for example, they buffed every non meta skill by 25% three times over. What I mean to say here is that there is still a lot of room for for a lot of what the "too easy" crowd would call "powercreep". I would call it balance though. I personally want sub-optimal but fun to be good enough and what is optimal meta to be so easy that people stop playing it cause its boring and becomes an inside joke like "look at that guy playing abberons str stack, what a noob". It would be a much more interesting and fun game than the current economy simulator where weird circular problem perpetuates: player must feel pain from the difficulty so they feel pressure to engage with trade so the economy doesnt die so it can be used as a solution to player feeling pain. Please set me free of trade and its effects on the games balance, I beg. POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences. " When it comes to a game like this.....your statement is ONLY true to someone who thinks they know everything and/or are perfect with no room for improvement. When you read an instruction manual or something that comes with a product that you buy, do you instantly distrust it because there is "no observable proof" that anything said in that manual carries any weight? People with a LONG history on these forums, in this game, and verifiable and meaningful contributions to strategic and build conversations hold an incredible amount of weight and importance, with or without instant gratification of having a model ready to go. They have GOOD and SUBSTANTIATED street cred, so to speak. Compare that to....others. Your reputation and demonstrated posts on content and difficulty is....shall we say....less than stellar. You can have a mirrored out, perfect build being shown in your profile and yet your post will still be worth nothing because the knowledge that has been put on display for all to read is exceptionally faulty. Folks have long memories. They remember the conversations about defenses and difficulty that you contributed to, while boasting that you never build with any and put builds with sub-20k ehp, even sub-10k on full display. Ex: I can speak with absolute expert experience on cyclone builds and CoCS builds, because I have made dozens of these in almost any form possible throughout my 14 years playing this game. But I currently DON'T have either one of these characters in my account. Someone like you would just completely ignore everything I say......that is only to your detriment. 2nd Ex: Have you been to space? Have you seen with your own eyes that the earth is round? Do you still BELIEVE that the earth is round thanks to second-hand information, data, pictures, and books? Do you look up and verify the credentials of all sources of that kind of information before at least giving them the benefit of the doubt that there may be plenty of useful information regardless? The value is in the CONTENT, private profile or not. Even without reputation to consider, the person displaying public characters that don't match the content of their posts is the one that is immediately providing distrustful misinformation, or at worst DISinformation. Sure, private profiles invite skepticism, but the content itself is almost always immediately backed up by other players without private profiles. Yet that goes ignored by the same folks that consistently post those silly one-liners writing off private profiles altogether. I can't believe we don't have the patch notes yet! It's been two entire days; GGG have really fallen off since Bex left ;_; How am I supposed to know which build to actually not make myself because I'm going to copy-paste what streamers tell me to do without the patch notes that I'm not going to read more than a week before the event starts? |

I'd be extremely surprised if we don't get patch notes on friday. They gotta drop them then so people have time to plan out their starting builds and know what's been nerfed.
