I just started off with this build it looks very fun, Just one question so far.

What is the preferred weapon is it wand+shield or anything 1h/shield with lots of spell damage?

I would like to know how much DPS you guys make when you start farming Merciless docks, because I almost reached a stage where I can switch from Spectral Throw to EK, using Clarity and Grace at the same time.
However, my "test-runs", with 3 Mana-flasks instead of Clarity, felt a lot slower than Spectral Throw, although I still have a weapon which was decent in Cruel and is now...

The question is: Is my DPS too low (~1.8k)? OR is Spectral Throw a way too op?

Furthermore, would you recommend "Added Fire" or "Iron Will" as fourth link?

My lvl is 78.
I'm running Haste, Hatred, Grace and Clarity auras.
EK DPS 6.5k (EK 18lvl, 17->18 5.6k->6.5k). Only wand, shield and belt are my DPS source.
I am doing the same build, but I haven't taken Inner Force nodes and Cast speed(probably won't take it). In 82lvl I will have Inner Force.
EK quality doesn't give much DPS, projectile speed probably would be better :)

In a 5L I would add faster projectiles because projectile range is very low. Unless you have projectile speed on wand. Iron Will would probably be my last choice. Not even thinking about Fork, but who knows...

I"m in Nemesis, so a shield+ wand/Scepter is my choice. I assume if you have amazing gear, or playing SC, then you can dual wield wands.

Clarity + Other. Just run what you need man. If you need armor/resists and you took IR run Grace/Purity (upside to Purity is only 40% mana reserved). If you need DPS run Hatred.

can someone tell me how iam supposed to run clarity of HP? iam lvl 43 and my Clarity uses 240 mana , multiplied with the 226% from the bloodmagic gem its 542 HP. iam only at 1400 Life (without the BM clarity) so this will leave me at roughly 850 HP.


am i too low on life or am i just to low to run clarity on life?

didnt take any Reduced mana passive yet (maybe thats the problem?)
or do i have to have it 3l? clarity+Bloodmagic+Reduced mana?

I would not be using the inner force nodes in this build as they also increase the mana drain of arctic armor. Instead of using the 3 inner force nodes for 21% increased buff effects on you, I would use the two 8% increased effect of auras nodes in the upper left corner of the tree for 16% more powerful auras.

In addition, I would drop the life nodes in the lower right corner of the tree and pick up MoM instead.
