[Nemesis] HP EK Scion - Arctic Armor + EB + MoM - 5+ Auras

To add to the above reference, if you have 60 mana regen/sec after using EK and arctic armor, why not use mana leech?

Mana leech combine with the use of life leech provides, in a sense, double leech to life (essentially viewing mana as a secondary life pool).

That combo seems VERY powerful to me

This is probably the biggest reason to try MoM so far IMO. I can see MoM being a better choice after you get really good gear and don't need to run Purity anymore. I have a hard time seeing it being better than Purity before you are resist capped though.

This goes for almost anything related to defense in this game. Max res is by far the largest mitigation in the game, there is a reason that everyone aims to get res capped on any type of character they play, regardless of build. Comparing anything to being res capped is almost apples to oranges comparison. To put MoM in comparison correctly, compare it to determination or grace. On its own it might not be worth it, however, with mana leech, I think its hard to ignore.

I personally think it will be op with a life leech and mana leech gem, esp if you run an attack and not a spell. Being able to get passives and % mana leech on gear will set MoM way ahead of many many other options. Granted this is not viable in this build, i STILL think it will be very strong with an EB EK build.

Also want to point out that in your first post you did not make the correct calculation on auras. You simply forgot to quantify the "54% increased effect of Auras you Cast" that you gain in your passive tree.

Im thinking that this will be a very nice buff to clarity and will allow the build to not have to take as many % inc mana nodes as well as mana regen nodes.

I was planning on writing up a guide to this build (a bit different passive tree) but thought I would post the tree on here for you to take a look if you want.

Also another "+ 24% increased Effect of Buffs on You" for a total of 78% Increased Effect.

Even better. So the 24.6 regen gained from clarity is actually 43.8. Or the 318 es (without buffs from passive)from discipline is actually 566.

Absolutely. I just crunched the numbers for all the auras and added a section on it to the OP. Holy crap they give a LOT of stats.

I believe purity is capped out at a +2% (similar to the passive tree pt) in the recent nerf. I could be wrong though.

Also you probably dont want to run Inner Force or the other 3% nodes around it. That will not only buff your auras by 21% but it will increase the cost of Arctic Armor standing still AND the cost while moving by 21%.

Yes but it also buffs the mitigation by arctic armor by the same amount. Would depend on what your regen was like whether you wanted Inner Force or not I guess...
