"corpse running is not good content design" neither is xp loss on death or boss respawn mechanics, which is why you barely see it in any games anymore bar a few exceptions and why POE had to make a whole separate game, as their current playerbase doesnt want the POE 2 playstyle.

it is a fact, when you can objectively see that its implementation into games is extremely scarce and barely none existent anymore. That is an a factual proof that it is a terrible game mechanic, cause neither players or developers at large gravitate towards it.

If you cannot even say why something is "bad" your post is just as redundant as calling it "old" or "outdated."
The theory of preformationism (that believed all life existed since the beginning) is outdated since the discovery of DNA as well as the atomic theory. Or in laymen terms: a better theory was found. Nowhere in your remarks can I find even a hint of a better system.
Bosses resetting is seen all over gaming by the way. Hell, there are games that make you start all over if you just die once and it's part of the gameplay loop. Corpse-rushing bosses during campaign is bad design. Ignoring boss mechanics through sheer DPS and just using portals as extra lives is bad design. Resetting boss health on death on the other hand adds skill expression because either you do the mechanics properly or you learn them in the process. No freebies.

Well that's why poe 2 is a seperate game, if you wanna play dark souls all day and have "challenging content" then go play that game. But it has no place in poe 1. That's why hc and ssf exist, if you wanna make the game harder just press those buttons when making your char. This thread is specifically my feedback about the game in sc trade, no other mode.
