I do not share the sentiment that you cannot sustain them though, I get more than enough returns to not care - use those precursor tablets/corruption/boss maps early on.

I literally ran out of maps after about 40 of them. I died ONCE. What few points on the atlas tree that I have, I have set to drop waystones and I still ran out. They just don't drop.

Again, GGG should not be gatekeeping its endgame content. People will move on to something else. It's a boneheaded move on their part.

Announcements state they see this is an issue and they are tweaking stuff.

And your opinion at this point is irrelevant.

The system is poorly designed if everybody uses all the waypoint nodes on the Atlas tree because they have to. That is a simple fact.

Atlas tree should provide choice. Now, there is no choice.
The system needs tuning.

I was 5/6 on T12 quest, I couldn't find a single T12 map for 2 days.

I found tons of T1 to T14 maps for two days until i got 3x T12 maps from the same mob pack. So much for planning.

Yeah. Like in my rare, corrupted, irradiated T16 map earlier today. It had a boss, and I killed literally everything on the map, opened every urn and chest.

Fully spec'd into waystones on the atlas tree.

Got a grand total of 0 waystones from the map.

(It doesn't get better)

I was sure the other were player skill issues, but you comment brings a red flag. I was brought to this thread exactly because I'm specd into waystone drops as well and I'm out of waystones.

I was searching if someone was having this issue and how to avoid that. Kirac, back at poe1 always had at least 1 map of various tiers per roll, as well as items to roll his store. I've always used a lot Kirac to be able to complete the atlas back there.

It is complicated to buy T1 maps until you get a T6+ map lol

very much enjoying poe2 but yeah now im stuck with a very low supply of T6 and if i run out ill probably stop playing. my friend already stopped playing because of this issue. its very frustrating to "juice" a map and get nothing, especially early endgame. the guy who we can buy unlimited waystones from should atleast get an upgrade to his shop when you hit certain milestones...

I wish someone could explain GGG thinking here.... WTF could waystone scarcity be good for ? Why do they do this ? Same issue with maps in POE. I don't get it.
