"All content" would include T17 bosses and ubers, final wave Simulacrum etc.
The statement would correctly read "my character can facetank all content UP UNTIL T17s" and that'd be fine. It means his defences are on par with prior content but not ready for the most difficult and challenging content yet.
Anything he says needs to be scrutinized anyway because we didn't see the character. I'm not ready to just take his word for it given prior experiences
Well now you're just nitpicking at my words, you know exactly what I meant lol
And t17s aren't "challenging", they're overtuned and need more nerfs. A complete joke and failure of "a bridge between ubers and normal endgame". That's a fact. Otherwise there wouldn't be so many threads and people complaining about them now would there?
And why does everything someone says need to be criticized like this just because they don't send you a pob of their char? If you don't agree and think t17s are great "challenging" content then why even bother arguing on a thread like this? There's no point. Nothing comes of conversations like this.
It's great that you can somehow enjoy this broken content. Other players cannot.

It's not nitpicking when your words paint the wrong picture, and I did not know that by "all content" you would actually mean "all content but the very thing we talk about" - your "implication" is lost on me.
Much of your criticism seems to stem from your understanding of what "bridge content" means, which leaves room for a lot of interpretation. Considering you're so dead set on "why are you nitpicking my words" you pretty much are guilty of the same.
To the last bit: this is a public forum. If you don't like open discussion and your ideas being challenged it is very much in line with your distaste for challenging content in PoE. :)
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

Yet the fact still remains, these maps are overtuned, unfun and boring to run with bad layouts and need to be seriously reworked. Including the rewards from them, they shouldn't be exponentially more rewarding than t16 like they are now. There's nothing "challenging" about broken unbalanced content.

Opinions are not facts. There's an important distinction to be made, especially if you want to use said "facts" for discussions.
In my opinion T17s are more than fine and serviceable especially after the last round of nerfs. If your build isn't capable yet there's always T16 and non-uber bosses. Variety is great and healthy for the game.

And I think the nerfs weren't enough. And again, they shouldn't be as insanely rewarding for the top 0.1% people that print mirrors meanwhile everyone else is left in the dust. It's bad for the game if this niche content that almost nobody can do is so insanely rewarding. If you need a mageblood mirror-tier build to do these maps without cringe oneshots or map mods bricking you then the design is simply bad.

Playing a properly balanced character is more than enough.
Or you can play a glass cannon if you know if what you're doing.
Combining a glass cannon with a sheer amount of lacking knowledge and skill is in fact the only problem not only in t17 maps but across the entire game and even all other games.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

Nope, the maps just suck. And they also have a lot of really annoying enemy types designed to waste your time like the big crab things that burrow under the ground and you have to just wait for them to come out in 5 years lol

obviously a nimis is not going to make me tankier. i can read what the stats are on the ring. why do you always have to be so condescending? do you think i cant read? i want one for more damage. ok i'm really done with this thread now because its going nowhere.
Don't listen to the people saying all this stuff, if your build can facetank all content comfortably and t17 bosses delete you, then yeah they're still an overtuned mess. It just proves to me that even if I were to make a tankier character I would still randomly die to 1-shots.
And if this helps in any way, I think mageblood just gives your friend's character max res if he uses elemental flasks(like ruby, sapphire, topaz) with increased effect reduced duration prefix and that orb that gives them "70% increased effect gain no charges during effect" enchant so they give more max resists. One of my friends once copied a mageblood nimis build and it reached 90 max res on all 3 resistances that way and an eldritch implicit on body armor for 2% more max res I think, with phys damage taken as ele suffixes on gear. So that's probably where all the extra tankiness is coming from?
But it's still unreasonable to require a mageblood build to be tanky enough for these maps lol, which means they're still unbalanced compared to the rest of the game. 90 all max res,max suppress, max block shouldn't be a checklist for these maps kek
dont worry, i dont take anything they say seriously. its always the same people too. its more of a personal grudge than anything topic related
anyway i tried the boss again and this time i could tank it and did it deathless. my ES never went down even when he was spinning. i maybe missed a bad mod on the other map. my build is perfectly fine just as i always knew it was.

So literally what a couple of players did already told you, but pointing out the main issues of your problems are a "personal grudge". How ironic

... so in the end it was a bad map mod that their build could not handle.
Its like we said this already.
