For reference my current necro has similar defenses to this and its level 74.... with a tabula on.
This build wasn't "thrown together", I copied it. Yeah it has 0 defences and it's a glass cannon, that's the point. It has over 200 mil dps. So what? This isn't the "Gameplay Help" section of the forum, nor am I asking for any build help. So why post a screenshot of my character in pob? Also if other people with tankier builds are complaining then clearly it's not only the people playing squishy builds that is the problem kek
I don't want to play another build. I don't want to level another character in the sleepfest that is this game's campaign. I'm simply giving my feedback about t17s, and how I think they suck. I shouldn't be forced to play a specific build just to do these bad maps. It's that simple.
As I said in my previous post I can do t16s just fine, the problem isn't defences, its the maps.
Genuinely, where are you getting 200M DPS from? Is there a secret source of shotgunning from FP that I have never heard of? Bc I got roughly 40ish M DPS by ticking every single (un)-reasonable buff from your build. Mind posting what you are working with?

Its not even the defences, its also that the DPS is not super high, see for comparison the Statscreen of my LS warden post glass-cannon conversion, this build was able to do T17s pretty easily, including full Mod effect 40% delirious. And that was before the big nerf early in the league. Its definitely possible to out-dps them on a glass-cannon char, it just needs a bit of work.
Yeah and that build probably costs an insane amount of divines lol, that's my point. Content like this shouldn't be gated behind insanely expensive builds that have items that are super rare or hard to craft. That's bad.

This is the build I farmed T17s with in the beginning, that is not an expensive build by current standards, its just random medicore rares, and okay-ish claw for week 1 and a headhunter, none of which are expensive anymore.

What? This build costs overall like 20 divines max.(probably less by now) The body armor with the double corrupt is 70 divines but completely optional, all it does is give me 1 more gem level lol. So no, this build that I'm playing isn't a hundred divines lol

250 mil is my ice spear single-target on bosses. My freezing pulse mapping dps is 35 mil yeah, which still should be enough for these maps.

Why? Genuinely why should "35M DPS with all settings in PoB ticked" be the standard we set for mapping? The Boss DPS is nice and well and I'm sure you don't struggle with killing the bosses in those maps, so why call your build a 250M DPS build. Everyone knows Ice Spear has insane ST, but thats not relevant for mapping, so the actual situation we have here is
"My build with no defenses and max 35M DPS struggles with T17s".

If you want to run glass you have to make up for your 0 defensive's with mechanical skill and understanding attacks and where to stand and not.
This is seen in old deep delvers where they would go all in on offense and 0 defense. Not the case anymore though with how much you can scale defense (what steve now does)
If you dont have those skills than you should not run glass. Not the games fault for your lack of mechanical skill and wanting to play glass.
Again, you are asking for t17s to be dumbed down so much that they are on par with the campaign, as your defensives are equal to my tabula level 74 necromancer.

Nope, these maps just suck and aren't fun to run. So I'm gonna keep complaining about them till they nerf them. I shouldn't have to change what build I play just to be able to do them without dying 10 times. I can dodge stuff and do t16s without any problems, so it makes no sense that t17s are so insanely overtuned. And let's not forget what the purpose of t17s was, to be "bridge content" between endgame maps and uber bosses, yet its easier for me to do 6/7 uber bosses than it is to do these maps. That's just not right.
