T17s are still an overtuned mess that are also annoying to roll
Again, you CHOOSE to run the effect notes on your atlas tree because that is the meta strat for maximum currency.
But if your build can't handle those mods, choosing those atlas passives is a self-inflicted pain in fear of missing out on the currency that follows along with it. Which underlies my point: if you want to run meta-strats, but don't want to run the meta builds that are best suited for those strats, then you've created a problem for yourself. " Well I disagree, I think most builds should be able to run them just like how most can run t16 strats. And if they refuse to make it like that, then nerf t17 rewards so they're about the same as t16 rewards, then I would have no reason to complain because I can just ignore t17s and do t16 strats. Just like how I avoid Simulacrum because my build sucks at it, I'm fine with not doing that content because I know the rewards it gives aren't so exponentially larger than what other content would give. But the gap between t16 and t17 is so huge, and the more juiced up they are the more the loot multiplies to insane levels. That's my problem with it. |

" Yea I guess providing data on WHY you are struggling, With fire goats... I mean cmon... and capturing what you say posted back in your direction is elitism. Mash the clean

" Oh, this totem build can do t17, but since it is a pure glass cannon, it require skill. Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed"
I'm disabled, I have rare case of semperduravera, so I can write things that may look rude, but it is because of disability - I'm forced to tell truth using words you may not like. |

" Ah yes the allmighty classic "skill issue" argument. It explains away everything that's badly designed in any videogame doesn't it? |

" That's ok that you disagree; the feeling is mutual ;) Your main issue though, seems not to be with the T17 mods nor rolling them, but the fact that they give better loot than T16s, and that you're missing out if you're not running them; while you've chosen a build that isn't great at running them, thus complaining that it should be "for everyone or nerfed", to paraphrase. (sorry for the extremely long sentence there) This reminds me of how a lot of people wanted Ultimatum back, but when they got it back it was clear that they didn't give a shit about the mechanic, but it was the loot they cared about (which they correctly recalled as being amazing back then). Your thread is masquerading as if you care about the difficulty balance/accesibility of T17s, but what you really care about is loot being outside of your comfortable grasp. I'm sure you'd care a lot less if T16=T17 in terms of loot, and it was only there for challenges and boss fragments. In any case, the debate has lost a bit of it's charm for me, and I doubt I can say something new. Best of luck with your T17s mate. Last edited by FalkenRaiding#1068 on Sep 2, 2024, 5:07:07 PM

" So every game gets classified as "badly designed" as soon as you hit a wall and refuse to get better at something? It's just true often if not always it's just a skill issue or lack of practice from the players side, but something that you could easily overcome if you wanted to. But I assume nowadays it's just easier to let the fomo kick in and demand for instant gratification changes instead of just getting better at whatever you're doing. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. Last edited by Pashid#4643 on Sep 2, 2024, 5:26:32 PM

Pretty funny how most people default to "git gud", I'm actually so tired of hearing this when having any kind of criticism about a game lol

I think its pretty funny that you aren't able to look inward at your character that's getting one shot by a goat.
