Massive nerf for most build - GIVE ME SLOW BUT IMPACTFUL POE2 EXPERIENCE
" What are you talking about? It really doesn't take much for most builds to obliterate everything everywhere with a one button gameplay and as early as after a few campaign acts. My level 92 gemling legionnaire build is worth 2 div. My 86 invoker, not even 1 div. My 80 titan even less. |

"I can agree that all skills can be given a purpose, I disagree that they must serve the same purpose for all points of the game. Killing Palm is a Lv 3 skill that dashes the player and has an exceedingly easy usage requirements (in terms of equipment and attributes). It can be slotted with supports to get some sustain from the culling strikes. The Monk will move on from it, other classes that want a dash can tap into it. "Good, you've now clarified which stance you're coming from. You're thinking of efficiencies, of being viable for clearing peak content. That is not communicated by saying "combo-based play is dead" without many sentences of context to clarify. |

I totally agree with this post. The slow pace fitted so well in the game. Hope they go on that path.

" Many tried POE 1 and didn't like it. But POE 2 offered something different so these people came back. For now. |
|
" For Now. Glad we can agree that it's just a matter of time before they go play the slow paced snooze fests like Lost Ark. |

" I don't understand why PoE 1 players want PoE 2 to be exactly the same. I mean there is still PoE 1 which is completely like PoE 1 right? Why don't we try something else in 2? |

" If you want a game that's not like PoE 1 - those games exist. They are obviously not called PoE 2 because they are not at all like PoE 1. They are called Lost Ark and Last Epoch. I want PoE2. Which means it should be 'like' PoE1 in some ways but also different in others. PoE 2 is exactly that. It's different in some ways. Similar in others. It's a perfectly reasonable successor to PoE. I'm confused by why people continue to suggest that me being happy with how PoE2 plays at the end means I should just play PoE 1 instead. Why do people want PoE 2 to be totally different from PoE1 is the real question? What in the world made people think that it ought to be a totally different game? I'm not the crazy one expecting PoE2 to be like PoE1 because it's called PAth of Exile 2. The people who expect - and DEMAND - that it be wildly different to suit THEIR playstyle that has NEVER been a core demographic of PoE are the ones who should baffle you. |

I prefer it fast paced tbh. i dont like from software games.

" Well I don't want completely different game either. I just don't want a game where the only endgame viable builds will be those super-meta-kill-them-all-in-seconds-or-you-die strats. I want a game when even slower non-meta builds will be able to defeat lower levels of pinnacle bosses. That's all. And if PoE 2 is like that atm then good. If devs evetually nerf broken builds good. But if they start to balance game aroud these broken builds like they did in PoE 1 then fuck it. Last edited by Sakanabi#6664 on Jan 24, 2025, 4:04:06 PM

" I get where you're coming from, but you're kidding yourself if you expect any other outcome. Look at youtube or twitch or really any poe content that the community follow and look at what is getting the views when it comes to build guides. What do you get? "1 shot all bosses" "Screen wide clear" "Best OP build" "One click boom" and so on - I'm literally reading these from youtube right now. That's what is getting the clicks. That's what you're gonna get because that's the guides players want because that's what they're watching. GGG will cater to the player base they have because that's how you continue to sell supporter packs and it's pretty clear what players want to do by what content is created by the streamers and youtubers. Edit: Hell even the OP is clear in their ask "Massive nerf for most build - give ME" - I mean come one. Dude is asking for "Most" builds to be nerfed so "THEY" get what THEY want. Come on....
